  2. "It's a deft finish"published at 15:43 British Summer Time 19 September 2015

    Aston Villa 0-1 West Brom

    Martin Keown
    BBC Radio 5 live

"There is an element of luck about it, though West Brom have been doing well.

"Rondon laid the ball off, using his physicality, and Morrison's shot comes off Berahino. There's a suspicion of offside, but as there's a Villa defender on the goal-line it's fine.

"It's a deft finish, taking all the energy off the ball. The keeper, going the other way, could do nothing about it."

Heurelho Gomes is forced to palm away a stinging shot from Newcastle's Florian Thauvin. There is still some life in the home side.

This is how you win over disgruntled supporters! Saido Berahino, making his first start since kicking up a fuss on deadline day, thinks quickly to divert James Morrison's long-range shot past the stranded Brad Guzan. That's the Baggies' first goal on the road this season.

  5. "The Baggies are well-oiled"published at 15:39 British Summer Time 19 September 2015

    Aston Villa 0-0 West Brom

    Martin Keown
    BBC Radio 5 live

"We expected West Brom, with their remarkable away record and clean sheets, to keep it nice and tight. The Baggies are well-oiled by Tony Pulis.

"As for Villa, it seems very much like a side who are rebooting after their summer business."

  6. ouch!

    Bournemouth 2-0 Sunderland

The battle between Younes Kaboul and Callum Wilson continues. Sunderland skipper Kaboul takes his revenge for being outfought for Wilson's opener - by smashing a ferocious free-kick into the Bournemouth scorer's midriff. The ball left Kaboul's foot like a bullet, brave block by Wilson.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:38

    Swansea 0-0 Everton

Romelu Lukaku goes close at Swansea with a rising shot from an angle inside the box that lifts just a yard too high and over the bar.

  8. More to this goal than a long ball forward...published at 15:37

    Newcastle 0-2 Watford

Watford striker Troy Deeney (number nine) is yet to notch this season but he has now played a part in both his side's goals today, setting up Odion Ighalo to make it 2-0.

When you watch replays, it looks a simple goal - a 1-2-3 of a long ball from Sebastien Prodl, nice take down and pass from Deeney and cool finish from Ighalo - but that does not do justice to the neat passing move that preceded it.

    Swansea 0-0 Everton

Not much to report from the Liberty Stadium. Arouna Kone has a chance to fire a shot on target but gets it very wrong on the edge of the box and hammers his effort into the stand behind the goal.

  10. Newcastle "all over the placepublished at 15:35

    Newcastle 0-2 Watford

    Danny Mills
    Final Score

"Watford, Bournemouth, both done incredibly well. Norwich not bad either... The three teams that have come up haven't struggled as they normally would. Newcastle. All over the place. They are really struggling and a sad sad time for the north east at the moment".

  11. One to look out for on MOTD...published at 15:35

    Bournemouth 2-0 Sunderland

To be fair, this graphic does not come close to doing justice to Matt Ritchie's very special strike that put Bournemouth 2-0 up, but at least it gives you an idea of where he spanked the ball into the top corner from after chesting down a half-cleared corner.

You will have to watch Match of the Day tonight to appreciate the goal in full.

    Stoke 2-0 Leicester

Any response from Leicester? Not much. Midfielder N'Golo Kante is responsible for their best effort so far, a low shot from distance turned around the post by in-form Stoke stopper Jack Butland.

There are an awful lot of very unhappy faces at St James' Park right now. Some stare at the floor, others vacantly into space. They can't believe what they are seeing, but see it they do. Watford are full of confidence now and playing the ball around crisply and accurately.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:30

    Aston Villa 0-0 West Brom

Villa keeper Brad Guzan is earning his wage today. The American flings himself to his left to push Albion midfielder Darren Fletcher's rising drive around the post with his fingertips. Tony Pulis can't believe that didn't hit the onion bag.

    Odion Ighalo (28 mins)

Watford are flying. Newcastle are falling apart. Odion Ighalo's run is superb to break the offside trap, Troy Deeney's pass is its equal to find him and the finish from the form is the icing on the cake.

Steve McClaren was on the phone to his staff in the stands prior to the goal.

    Aston Villa 0-0 West Brom

West Brom are firmly in control of this West Midlands derby - but almost shoot themselves in the foot. Claudio Yacob dallies in his own half, giving away possession to Ashley Westwood who slices a 20-yard shot wide.

But Yacob makes amends moments later by bravely blocking Carles Gil's fierce goalbound shot. Ouch. Yacob gets hit, er, shall we say, really where a man doesn't want to get hit...

    Swansea 0-0 Everton

Tough game taking place at the Liberty Stadium. John Stones is the latest man down and needing treatment following a heavy challenge in the middle of the pitch with Jack Cork. The Everton defender should be OK to continue, just as Andre Ayew was for Swansea earlier.

  18. Too easy for Bournemouth?published at 15:22

    Bournemouth 2-0 Sunderland

Bournemouth's second goal was a thing of beauty, and their first wasn't bad either. This is what it looked like, with Simon Francis and Dan Gosling combining to feed Callum Wilson.

Wilson now has five Premier League goals, and is probably thinking he can add to his tally after seeing some of Sunderland's defending so far.

Watford come close to doubling their lead as Troy Deeney shoots just wide from the edge of the box following a good run from Almen Abdi. Good game, this.

  20. Watford attack down the leftpublished at 15:20

    Newcastle 0-1 Watford

It is safe to say Watford's main threat has come down the left at St James' Park so far. Ikechi Anya and Juredo are linking up well for the Hornets and causing Newcastle plenty of problems.
