  1. 'The club is in a hole'published at 17:19

    Aston Villa 1-2 Swansea

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood, speaking to BBC Sport: "Am I going to be in the job next week? I'm not the person to ask. I feel like the club is in a hole.

"I am disappointed with the result, we didn't deserve to lose the game. We can't carry anyone because we're getting done. At the moment we are short. If people don't give everything we'll come up short.

"There's no shortage in desire but the quality is not quite there. We're not world beaters. Our league position suggests we're not and today wasn't our day."

Approximately 1,000 people in their seats at the Emirates 10- minutes out from kick-off. Not a night to be outside by the looks of it, a miserable evening on the weather front.

Hopefully not on the pitch. You can follow a full live page of that game here, while we will bring you updates.

"Arsenal have the chance to go top with a win, which would round off a memorable week in style after getting their Champions League campaign back on track against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

"I was at Goodison Park last week and, while Manchester United were excellent in their 3-0 win, I also thought Everton were surprisingly poor.

"The Toffees will need to sharpen up as they look to win at Arsenal for the first time in 22 visits, a run stretching back almost 20 years.

"Everton are unbeaten away this season, but Arsene Wenger's side have won five of the last six in all competitions, scoring 17 goals in the process."

  5. 'It's been a circus this week'published at 17:13 British Summer Time 24 October 2015

    Aston Villa 1-2 Swansea

Swansea boss Gary Monk, speaking to BBC Sport: "Any three points is welcome in the period we've been in. It was good to get back to winning ways. It's been a bit of a circus this week but you have to live with that.

"I don't really focus on what's been said. I focus on the group and football. There will be ups and downs. Winning games is all people care about.

"I know what this group is capable of. We still have a lot to do but hopefully this is the start to get some momentum now. It was even in the first half and second half we stepped it up. We deserved the three points."

  6. 'Ranieri didn't shake my hand'published at 17:11 British Summer Time 24 October 2015

    Leicester 1-0 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew: "We've made one mistake and it's been costly. We were better second half and certainly deserved something from the game.

"I thought (Claudio Ranieri) was goading our players (not getting the ball back) and he didn't shake my hand at full-time, which is disappointing. But it's a long game and they've got to come to our place and we'll remember that.

"It was a tight game, Leicester weren't really going anywhere and it was a mistake that cost us the game. I thought we did a pretty good job today."

    Arsenal v Everton (17:30 BST)

Tonight's late game is fast approaching. Arsenal have not won the Premier League since 2003-04, but Jermaine Jenas thinks the wait could soon be over.

“I fancy Arsenal to go a long way this year," said Jenas on BBC Radio 5 live. "I honestly believe they could win it and it’s wide open. They’ve never had a better chance.”

  11. 'The pizzas are on the gaffer'published at 17:07 British Summer Time 24 October 2015

    Leicester 1-0 Crystal Palace

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy: "I've not had many chances in the game so to get the goal that counts it was really important. I've just been told I've joined an elite group. It's on to the next one, onto the training ground, cup in midweek and then we prepare for next week's fixture. You saw how we defended at the end, great resilience and the pizzas are on the gaffer."

  18. Player reactionpublished at 16:58

    West Ham 2-1 Chelsea

West Ham striker Andy Carroll: "It was a tough game but we knew that anyway. We’ve had some great wins but that’s got to be one of the best. It was a great strike by Mauro Zarate for the opener. We went for the win and kept on pushing and got it.

"It was a great ball in for my goal and I read where it would be – I’ve been waiting for one of them for a while. This (near the top of the table) is where we belong."
