‘Gegenpressing’. Heard of it? If you haven't you will be fed up of it soon.

The word basically describes Jurgen Klopp's high-pressing style of football, with the German wanting his team to hunt in packs.

A great example just there as the Liverpool boss punches the air when Emre Can charges down a clearance.

    Press, press, press.

Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass.... You get the idea.

Liverpool are keeping the ball well but Adam Lallana's shot from 20 yards is a bit of a let down as he scuffs it and it bobbles towards goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Philippe Coutinho is looking lively as he buzzes around the penalty area. The hosts are well on top.

Chance for Liverpool as Nathaniel Clyne slips the ball into Philippe Coutinho but he dallies a tad and his shot from the edge of the penalty area is blocked by Cedric.

From the resulting corner, Emre Can turns the ball wide at the near post.

"Liverpool can't score at the moment, and can't really keep clean sheets at the moment. Southampton might fancy their chances! We should get a better idea on the way in which Jurgen Klopp wants his team to play."

"When Jurgen Klopp took over at Borussia Dortmund they'd just finished 13th and were in need of inspiration.

"A huge club with a successful past and fervent support requiring a pick me up - sound familiar?

"One of the features of Dortmund's stadium was the enormous stand behind the goal, 'the yellow wall' providing an atmosphere virtually unparalleled in world football.

"The all new 'Klopp end' is likely to be at its most raucous for his first Premier League bow at Anfield; Thursday's meeting with Rubin Kazan felt more like a dress rehearsal."
