  1. Boring, boring United?published at 14:43

Crystal Palace v Man Utd (15:00 GMT)

Former Republic of Ireland international on BBC Radio 5 live

This week, former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes criticised his ex-club's style of play under Louis van Gaal...

    Quote Message

I understand what Paul Scholes is saying, I’ve watched United over the last year or so under Louis Van Gaal and I can think of four or five games where they've shown what a good side they are. It's a bit painful at times watching them. If you get a well organised side, United struggle to break them down. I can understand Van Gaal’s argument, though, because they were in a bit of a hole when he took over. Money usually buys success and perhaps they should be playing better under Van Gaal.

The questions over Mourinho will be a cacophony now. It's not just the defeat but the manner of it. They were absolutely outplayed."

    Chris Sutton
Former Norwich striker on Final Score

"A lot of it will come down to whether Abramovich thinks Mourinho has lost the dressing room. The tough thing is, who is better than Mourinho to come in? Eventually if he thinks Mourinho's lost the dressing room he will change manager - I think he's lost Matic and he's lost Hazard."

Philippe Coutinho has been brilliant for Liverpool today, while Eden Hazard was largely anonymous. The touch map for each player (Hazard left, Coutinho right) shows their involvement (or lack of) in the game at Stamford Bridge, notably in and around the box.

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Football Focus

"It's all about being better than everybody else. There's been so much inconsistency in the Premier League this season, so Arsenal are surely in with a chance. I want them to be stronger mentally and a little bit tougher in their performance."

Too many Chelsea players have been miles below par today. Liverpool have broken so intelligently in the second half and they've taken their chances."
