Looks like you just have, Jack...

Francis: Kloppytime is the new Fergytime!

Christopher: Mourinho's script is written and maybe he actually has right to complain. Goal two minutes 30 seconds into two minutes of injury time!

Andy: Well that says it all. Two minutes on the board and ref plays three plus! I give up!

The average positions of the players certainly backs up Pat Nevin's view, as does the fact that forward Roberto Firmino made just one touch of the ball in the box all half (see second image).

Liverpool have been the better team for 40 minutes. If they'd had a striker up front, they could have been ahead easily."

  4. Jose feeling bluepublished at 13:39

    Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool

Jose Mourinho cut a dejected figure as he turned to walk down the tunnel after Coutinho's shot hit the back of the net. It came 30 seconds after the two minutes of added time were up. He can have no complaints, though, about the scoreline. The Blues led for much of the half, but they were second best for most of it.

Could that retreat back to the dressing room be the defining image of this afternoon? Big second half coming up.

Absolutely 100% deserved. I've said all half, if Liverpool have that much space they will create chances. Ramires dives in and misses a tackle. What a difference that will make to the half-time team talks."

    Coutinho (45 mins)

Is every goal Phillipe Coutinho scores a worldy? He doesn't do tap-ins, does he? He drags Liverpool level on the stroke of half-time with a typically brilliant goal, sidestepping past two players on the edge of the area and bending a beautiful strike beyond Asmir Begovic.

  13. 'Leicester still benefiting from Pearson's work'published at 13:24

West Brom v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

Did you see Tony Pulis's comments about Leicester City this week? In short, TP believes the Foxes continue to ride the crest of a wave created by Nigel Pearson.

"Claudio Ranieri has benefited from all the work Nigel has put in," said West Brom boss Pulis. "It's very, very nice to step into a football club where everything is in place and at that club it looks like everything is in place.

"Last season was a remarkable achievement and Claudio has picked it up and carried it on. It's difficult for me to say but let's not forget the work Nigel did, the three, four years he was at that club putting them in a position for Claudio now to push on."

Adam: True Blues like myself who have loved Chelsea for decades know just how special a duo Roman and Jose are to our club. Jose is like a heavyweight boxing champion who has taken a good punch for the first time and is taking an eight count. Every Chelsea hater is desperate to get Roman to throw in the towel because they know that when Jose gets back up off the canvas, he will batter his opponents for the next seven years.

That sounds like it could have come from the mouth of the 'Special One' himself, Adam. Perhaps Jose will prove the inspiration for a new Rocky film...

  16. No change in policy at Newcastlepublished at 13:14

    Newcastle v Stoke (15:00 GMT)

Going back to Newcastle for a moment, it was interesting to see the club's board say this week that the club's transfer policy will remain unchanged regardless of results on the pitch.

“While accepting the start to the league season had been disappointing, the club underlined its commitment to the transfer policy that had been outlined to supporters in the email on 2nd September," reports the Newcastle Chronicle., external

“This focuses on buying players whose careers are ‘on the way up’, rather than buying players who are nearing the end of their careers.

“The club stated that its aim was to secure players who could improve individually and collectively, rather than focusing on potential sell-on value.”

Sounds like a Championship Manager strategy to me.

Liverpool are playing incredibly well. They've had Chelsea chasing shadows the last five minutes. If you stick Sturridge up front, I reckon they'd have created three or four good chances."

  19. McClaren stands and faces the musicpublished at 13:06

    Newcastle v Stoke (15:00 GMT)

Win, lose or draw today, Newcastle manager Steve McClaren says he will continue to walk across to the fans and applaud them at the final whistle.

Some may suggest it's not the wisest thing to do considering some of the Magpies' recent results - but Macca isn't going to change.

"It is something which when I was in Holland was kind of a ritual," said former FC Twente manager McClaren.

"It was a tradition in Holland and in Germany and I thought it was a good one. Will it take off here? I don't think so, but we are just trying to reconnect and get closer to the fans.

"I know it is not the theatre when everyone stands up and you get a round of applause. Of course it is different. But you have got to have that toughness to stay there and not to skulk off."
