Swansea boss Garry Monk speaking to Match of the Day in the tunnel at Carrow Road: "We had total control up until the goal. It's frustrating, very frustrating at the moment. One lapse of concentration has cost us dearly again and it’s been the story of the last couple of weeks, which is very frustrating for everyone.

"We got caught with a sucker punch against the run of play. There are not many teams who will come to Carrow Road and have almost total control of the game, doing just what we wanted,

"We have work to do now. We have to look and assess where we are over the break, and come back with the right approach and start to pick things up."

Jose Mourinho has to take responsibility. I have always been a fan of Mourinho's up until this season. He has been charismatic, he has been charming and he has been brilliant for the Premier League. But he has behaved like a petulant big baby."

    Alan Shearer
Former Newcastle and England striker on 5 live Sport

"As a Newcastle fan I don't really care how we managed to win that!

"After the run they have been on it was just about getting the three points. Actually, Newcastle were pretty poor but the goalkeeper was just outstanding.

"They have had a few good games recently - they didn't perform today but they won and that's football.

"I'd be very worried if was a Bournemouth supporter. They had so much possession and created so many chances, but they just did not look like scoring the goal. That would worry me."

  5. 'We kept West Ham very, very quiet'published at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2015

    West Ham 1-1 Everton

Everton manager Roberto Martinez, speaking to BBC Sport: "We allowed West Ham too much space for the first goal, but I was delighted with the way we responded. We kept West Ham very, very quiet in the second half.

"The performance was terrific in terms of having a winning mentality. I was just disappointed at the end that we couldn't find that bit of magic to get the three points."

I just feel Jose Mourinho is in a dark place. He thinks the world is against him. His paranoia is always going to get the better of him. I think he is is aggressive and I think the way he conducts himself off the pitch does cause an embarrassment for Chelsea."

    Mark Lawrenson
    Former Liverpool defender

"Chelsea's Champions League win over Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday was a massive result. Not just because of the victory, but because they got it after being pegged back to 1-1 late in the game.

"I think it could turn out to be a turning point in Chelsea's season, because it was a completely different reaction to the one we saw from their players when they conceded an equaliser just before half-time of their defeat by Liverpool last weekend.

"Stoke will be ready for them, but I am backing Chelsea to win this time."

This is a well deserved result. The penalty was well taken and that brings three points, a second clean sheet in a row and we're still unbeaten away from home. I think that's fantastic."

Norwich goalscorer Jonny Howson, speaking to Sky Sports: "We've had a few bad results over the past few weeks, but our performances haven’t been too bad. We said before this match that we needed something from the game.

"Swansea are very good in possession and you have to respect your opposition at this level.

"The goal gave us all a lift and over the past few games we've conceded first, which at this level is hard to come back from. So the goal gave us a platform from which to hold on.

"After a few defeats, these wins count. We kept a clean sheet, having conceded a few sloppy goals this season from set pieces. So this result is very pleasing."

"Let it be said that the weather is positively mild and the environment of The Britannia Stadium is one of the most enjoyable and atmospheric in the Premier League."
