Salford beat Notts County in FA Cup
Gary Neville
Salford City co-owner
"It's difficult to describe that feeling. That was unbelievable. It puts faith back into you, it's what football is about. The FA Cup takes a battering but tonight epitomises what it is all about.
"I was relaxed until we scored and then I got excited! Once we got the goal I didn't think we were in trouble.
"This means a lot. The players will never have had a moment like that in their lives. The committee members, the work they have put in to make this game happen has been incredible.
"That's put faith back into me about what football can be like. I've not had a moment like that for a few years."
The Times
In addition to Jose Mourinho saying he may not watch Chelsea's game at Stoke following his ban, The Times carry a nice spread of Salford's win over Notts County in the FA Cup.
If you haven't seen Richie Allen's stunner yet, I encourage you do so. Reminiscent of Paul Gascoigne against Netherlands in the 1990 World Cup but with an end product too.

While we're on the subject of potty-mouthed Jose, feel free to to give us your thoughts on the Chelsea boss's plight.

Daily Mail
Ahead of Sunday's north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham, a couple of newspapers have also picked up on Arsene Wenger questions about how the Gunners let Spurs striker Harry Kane leave the club when he was in the youth ranks.
Wenger's also been doing a spot of modelling too. Suits you, sir!
The Sun
Jose fever in the Sun too. Also an interesting tale about Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, who says that fans should boo him not his players after their stuttering form of late. Not sure, but I think they might have been doing that already given the response to withdrawing Anthony Martial against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League win on Tuesday.
Daily Mirror
A similar story in the Daily Mirror. They also have details of Robbie Savage's response to John Terry's criticism. The pair have been having a ding-dong this week if you haven't heard.
Daily Express
There are more asterisks in the Daily Express's report on Jose Mourinho's behaviour at West Ham than a French comic about Gauls. , external
After referee Jonathan Moss filed his report, Mourinho chose not to appeal.
Before we do cast our eyes over the Premier League's games, let's take a look at today's newspapers. Guess which manager features quite heavily?

If you haven't heard, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is banned for his side's evening game at Stoke after being sent off against West Ham two weeks ago. Details of his altercation with referee Jon Moss have emerged, and apparently the air turned bluer than a Chelsea shirt. But we'll deal more with that later.
Here's what the Premier League has in store for us today, and we'll get stuck into each game one by one.
12:45: Bournemouth v Newcastle
So Salford are in the hat for the FA Cup second round and you can stay across all the remaining first-round ties this weekend on the BBC including a special Final Score and highlights show on Sunday. You won't miss a single goal. Lest we forget, there is the small matter of today's Premier League games too.
Will anyone end up enjoying their weekend as much as Salford?
Salford into FA Cup second round
Salford City joint manager Bernard Morley: "Words can't explain. I'm on a different planet at the minute. me and Jonno are absolutely buzzing.
"Did I think we could win? I think so. But they played so well. We were in control from start to finish."
Joint manager Anthony Johnson: "It's once in a lifetime stuff, that's what we told them. Embrace it. Showcase your talents.
"I didn't think we could win! They are a full-time side with top players but the boys have proved me wrong. I've never felt so emotional after a game.
"Most people know the ambition of the owners. We are putting Salford City on the map. The owners said don't worry about the cups this season, let's concentarte on the league!
"I've got my little girl's party tomorrow morning at nine so I don't want to be too rough for that..."
Yes it was an historic night for Salford, who are 59 places below Notts County in the football pyramid. Even co-owners Gary Neville and Nicky Butt cracked a smile! It was certainly an occasion to get re-invigorated about the FA Cup again, and we will have full coverage of the remaining first round ties and all the other big games across this weekend.
As Friday night football goes, non-league Salford's win over League Two Notts County in the first round of the FA Cup was a cracking way to kick off the weekend.
If you haven't seen Richie Allen's strike in the 2-0 win, then it is definitely worth watching again. Given the lack of goals at Old Trafford, maybe Louis van Gaal should give him a call?
