  1. CLOSE!published at 15:30

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

Everton coming on strong. Gerard Deulofeu was the creator of much pain last week against Sunderland and he's at it again, weaving into space on the right and firing in a low cross/shot which Adrian does well to kick out.

Jordan from Birmingham: How Rooney keeps his place I'll never know. I might hold my place of work to ransom, get a payrise then do the job half-interested...

David in London: What really irks me is Terry Butcher saying it's an injustice that Bournemouth didn't win. There were no terrible decisions against them by the referee so how can it be unjust? If a defence absorbs wave after wave of attacks then there's no injustice if the attacks are ultimately unsuccessful.

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

Lovely technique from Ross Barkley to whip a free-kick over the wall but it's straight at Adrian in the Hammers goal.

    Norwich 0-0 Swansea

Lukasz Fabianski is back up and right back into the action, popping up to claim a high cross into the box.

Well done, lad. No messing around, straight up and on with it. Some soft footballers could take heed from that!

Phil Johnson: United remind me of Karate Kid and Mr. Miyagi....show me side to side.

Nicholas Richards: Michael Carrick's passes look like the only things that are going to beat the WBA defensive wall.

  6. FA Cup first-round latestpublished at 15:25

A couple of shocks are brewing...

Seventh-tier club Stourbridge lead 1-0 at National League side Dover, while that division's leaders Forest Green are a goal to the good at League Two side Wimbledon.

Eighth-tier Northwich Victoria, the lowest-ranked side in action today, are 1-0 up over National League strugglers Boreham Wood.

Teddy Sheringham's Stevenage are 1-0 up at home to League One's Gillingham.

    Follow the latest here.

  7. Postpublished at 15:24

    Norwich 0-0 Swansea

Just one win in the last seven for Swansea and there is cause for concern as goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is flat out having collided with Sebastien Bassong. The Polish stopper punched away a dangerous Jonny Howson free-kick, but then got caught accidentally by the onrushing Norwich defender.

  8. 'I used to commute to training on the train...'published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2015

How did you get to the game today? On Final Score, John Hartson's revealed he used to commute to training on the railway:

"I used to commute to training on the train regularly - it showed I was humble, wasn't above my station. When I lived in Hertfordshire and played up front for Wimbledon, I used to go from Harpenden. It was good, as long as I didn't get any hassle. I had big Mick Harford with me, so I was all right!"

    Standard class ticket, we assume...

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:23

    Sunderland 0-0 Southampton

Southampton are surely going to score in a minute. Again it's Sadio Mane on the ball at the back post, a left-footed drive and a one-handed save from Costel Pantilimon.

If Big Sam's had the lads working on defending this week - it doesn't show...

  10. Postpublished at 15:21

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

West Ham free-kick to the back post, James Tomkins hooks it across goal - and it's cleared away.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:21

    Leicester 0-0 Watford

Leicester nearly stung by the Hornets. The ball drops in the box for Watford striker Ohion Ighalo, who lets the ball drop before smashing against the post. Almen Abdi follows up with a snapshot, which is pushed away by Kasper Schmeichel.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:18

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

Everton take a free-quick quickly and Gareth Barry sends Arouna Kone away into space. He hesitates before taking a pot shot wide from 18 yards.

Decent game, both sides looking dangerous.

  13. CLOSE!published at 15:19

    Man Utd 0-0 West Brom

    Wayne RooneyImage source, AFP

Nearly for Manchester United. Strong work from Wayne Rooney on the edge of the area, who holds off a West Brom defender before feeding Juan Mata on the right.

The Spaniard tries bending one in to the far corner, but it doesn't curl in enough and drifts wide of the post.

  14. Championship latest - Brighton back on toppublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2015

Huge early goal in the Championship where Brighton have taken the lead at home to MK Dons. Solomon March's effort means his side on back on top of the 'as it stands' table.

Elsewhere, bottom club Rotherham's troubles increase after Brett Pitman gives Ipswich the early lead in south Yorkshire.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:16

    Sunderland 0-0 Southampton

Southampton playing very nicely now indeed, they switch the ball out wide to the left, Graziano Pelle flicks it back into the run of Dusan Tadic and his shot is brilliantly blocked by Costel Pantilimon.

  16. Postpublished at 15:16

    Man Utd 0-0 West Brom

83% possession in the first 15 minutes for the home side at Old Trafford. Fans will start getting a neck ache having to look in one direction for the whole half.

  17. Postpublished at 15:13

    Man Utd 0-0 West Brom

He has received plenty of criticism recently for his efforts in strike and Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney tees himself up before blasting over the bar.

He's going to have to do better than that to get the fans off his back and add to his two league goals of the campaign.

  18. Postpublished at 15:11

    Norwich 0-0 Swansea

First decent opening for the home side. Big man up top Cameron Jerome heads over the bar. Maybe he should have done better and got it on target, but the cross into the box may just have been a tad high to be comfortable.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2015

    Sunderland 0-0 Southampton

There's a lot to be said for Southampton's front three and they combine to good effect, Dusan Tadic picking out Sadio Mane at the back post. Mane is caught between shooting and crossing and in the end does neither, slicing a ball right across goal.

  20. Big Ronpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2015

    Man Utd 0-0 WBA

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 live

"He's a big lump isn't he Salomon Rondon? He's a big old boy.

"West Brom are sat in, letting the United back four have the ball. In terms of a spectacle I think we need West Brom to score first.
