Norwich ended a run of four straight defeats to rise up the table, while opponents Swansea are struggling.

The early season form which saw them beat Manchester United and draw against Tottenham seems a distant memory now.

Bafetimbi Gomis and Andre Ayew can't find the net anymore and they've scored once in their last four games.

Have the Swans lost their heads?

Joe, London: "103 goals in 92 games, across 4 seasons in the Southern Sunday league. Odd socks, hangovers, holes in the netting. Loved it. Parklife prolific."

Anonymous, HLFC, Stockport: "Our striker nicknamed 'Jimmy Goals' has scored over 500 club goals in his senior career, these days he makes a habit of scoring 6 before HT and then subbing himself off."

Dan, Ipswich: "I haven't scored a league goal in over ten years. My non scoring run is so bad, my brother even brought it up in his best man speech."

    Man Utd 2-0 West Brom

Has Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal been irked by the Old Trafford faithful's calls to "attack, attack, attack"?

The Dutchman said fans should make up their own minds about the team's style of play.

Former midfielder Paul Scholes said he "would not enjoy" playing for Van Gaal's United, who have scored only three goals in their last five games.

"They were very influenced by Paul Scholes," said Van Gaal. "When you are yelling 'attack, attack, attack', you have to think 'hey, is it all right to yell?'"

"The fans want to let the players know that we have to score. Of course. My mother knows that, so does my grandmother."

It's not the attacking, inspiring, exciting football of the Ruud van Nistelrooy days, but Manchester United are in the title hunt this season.

The supporters may not be happy with the style of play, but it's all about keeping it tight nowadays.

The Red Devils are fourth in the league, but have not conceded in 550 minutes of football.

They've also kept eight clean sheets from 12 league games this season. Solid.

And the main protagonist for Leicester's brilliant run? Jamie Vardy.

The striker leads the league's scoring chart with 12 goals so far this season.

Against Watford, he netted in his ninth consecutive Premier League game and is on the verge of equaling a 12-year record.

Former Manchester United frontman Ruud van Nistelrooy scored in 10 straight games, and Vardy can match that away at Newcastle in two weeks time.

Did you know Vardy started his career in non-league? No-one seems to mention it.

  10. Ranieri's remarkable runpublished at 11:18

    Leicester 2-1 Watford

Many questioned the sacking of Nigel Pearson at the end of last season, despite keeping them in the Premier League, and further eyebrows were raised when the Leicester owners decide to give journeyman Claudio Ranieri the job.

But the charming Italian has worked his magic and taken the club on a run which sees them in nose bleed territory.

The Foxes are level on 25 points with leaders Manchester City and second-placed Arsenal after 12 games.

To put into context how remarkable the turnaround is, it took the club 31 games to gain that many points last season.

How did Bournemouth lose this one? How did they not even get a point? "That's football," said the pundits after the game.

The Cherries dominated possession, had 20 shots to two but came away with nothing.

Ayozi Perez's strike gave Newcastle victory, taking them out of the relegation zone and dumping the opponents in it.

  13. Moyes facing the sack?published at 11:07

Just going off on a slight tangent away from the Premier League for a minute...

Jose Mourinho may have the backing of people around him, but it looks like Real Sociedad boss David Moyes could be facing the chop at the La Liga side.

The Scot's Sociedad team are marooned near the bottom of the league - they could be in the relegation zone by the end of the weekend - and a limp performance in Friday's 2-0 defeat against lowly Las Palmas has left his future in serious doubt.

So, you would have thought a manager who has endured a run such as Jose Mourinho's would be under pressure from those associated with the club.

    Not a bit of it.

Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic said boss Mourinho retains the support of the players saying they are "behind" him.

What about the national journalists? What do they think? Remarkably, the five who BBC Sport asked about his future all said he should stay in the job.
