  1. A night to remember

    Robert Lewandowski

It was a 'where were you' kind of day as Robert Lewandowski - a half-time substitute - scored five goals in an unbelievable nine minutes for Bayern Munich as they came from behind to beat Wolfsburg 5-1.

Elsewhere, Mario Balotelli scored for AC Milan as they beat Udinese 3-2, Angel Di Maria and Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored as PSG won 3-0, with the Swedish maverick even missing a late penalty.

And Atletico Madrid maintained their decent start with a 2-0 victory over Getafe.

Thanks for joining it with us, we hope you enjoyed it.

  2. FULL-TIME - PSG 3-0 Guingamp

  3. PSG 3-0 Guingamp

Guingamp break in numbers and Nicolas Benezet doesn't look up to find a team-mate, he just shoots himself and it's straight at the keeper. That's the last chance.

Three minutes of injury time until PSG extend their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to four points (admittedly having played a game more).

Angel Di Maria's assist is his final action as he's replaced by Ezequiel Lavezzi.

  9. GOAL - PSG 3-0 Guingamp

A wonderful goal by a phenomenal player. Angel Di Maria plays the ball to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the box - the Swede takes a first touch to control it and his second touch is to poke it home from an angle.

  10. PSG 2-0 Guingamp

And now we're down to the final one of our four main games tonight. PSG have eight minutes to see this out and maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

  11. FULL-TIME - Udinese 2-3 AC Milan

  13. RED CARD

Marquinho comes on for Manuel Iturra for Udinese - six minutes left.

  20. TEN TO GO - SUBSTITUTION

    Udinese 2-3 AC Milan

    Ten minutes to go.

  21. SUBSTITUTION

    PSG 1-0 Guingamp

    The Scot is under pressure.

  28. PSG 1-0 Guingamp

PSG have a free-kick at least 30 yards out. But Zlatan Ibrahimovic fancies his chances...

The Swede has a go and it's on target but it's parried away by the goalkeeper.

    Second half is under way.

  31. GOAL - Udinese 2-3 AC Milan

Duvan Zapata pokes home from close range to get Udinese right back in this game. This is vintage AC Milan (of the last few years).

  32. Post update

It's Oktoberfest in Munich at the moment. It's going to be total and utter carnage tonight!

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu converts a cross to get Udinese back into this game.

As a Republic of Ireland fan, I've just remembered that we face Robert Lewandowski's Poland next month.

  39. FULL-TIME - Atletico Madrid 2-0 Getafe

Atletico Madrid make it four wins from five games.

  40. FULL-TIME - Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

What?! Where's the injury time? In fact the referee appeared to blow at 89:58. Boooooo.

Bayern Munich win to extend their unbeaten start to the season, but that's not really the story.

  41. Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

Robert Lewandowski finds Thomas Muller, who fails to add a sixth. Don't pass Robert - you only have one minute plus injury time for a double hat-trick.

  42. GOAL - Atletico Madrid 2-0 Getafe

    Antoine Griezmann (89 mins)

Antoine Griezmann has sealed the win for Atletico Madrid from close range, sweeping Jackson Martinez's cross into the top of the net.

    Antoine Griezmann
  43. Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

I thought the challenge of this live text shift was going to be watching four games at the same time, not Robert Lewandowski scoring goals at a quicker rate than I could write about them.

  44. Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

This last half an hour has seemed a bit anticlimactic really. I thought the run was going to stop after his hat-trick but by goal five all bets were off.

    Four minutes to go.

  46. Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

  48. TEN TO GO - Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

Thomas Muller clips a ball over the top for that man but this time Robert Lewandowski's shot is blocked by Dante - his former Bayern team-mate.

Ten minutes to go for history.

  49. SUBSTITUTION

Both sides make changes - Joshua Kimmich replaces Xabi Alonso in midfield for Bayern Munich. And Andre Schurrle and Nicklas Bendtner come on up front for the Wolves. Bas Dost and Max Kruse come off.

  50. Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

Douglas Costa goes down the left. Just find Robert, Douglas - that's all you need to do. But he doesn't. He wins a corner instead.

Bar Wolfsburg fans is there anybody not desperate for Robert Lewandowski to at least level that now?

  57. Post update

Oh that's right, I was meant to be giving you updates from three other games, wasn't I? Well Javier Pastore has given PSG the lead against Guingamp. Atletico Madrid are still 1-0 up on Getafe, with AC Milan leading Udinese 2-0.

  58. Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

A Bayern Munich cross comes in from the left and Robert Lewandowski - seeking GOAL NUMBER SIX - attempts to sweep home but it's kept out by keeper Diego Benaglio.

  59. Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

Bayern Munich have their first non-Robert Lewandowski shots of the second half that I can rememeber. Philipp Lahm is denied by Diego Benaglio at the near post and the Swiss also denies Thomas Muller's follow-up.

  60. Get Involved

  61. Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

That's up there with Germany 7-1 Brazil as the most remarkable things I've ever seen in football.

Lewandowski didn't start after recovering from an injury and comes on at half-time to score five within 15 minutes - nine goals apart.

He's barely done anything bar score. Oh wait he's got a chance again but instead he passes to Thomas Muller who fails to score.

Just shoot Robert - we all want to see how far this can go.

  62. Get Involved

  63. GOAL - Bayern Munich 5-1 Wolfsburg

    Robert Lewandowski (60 mins)

What on earth is happening? I was trying to tell you what's happened elsewhere but instead my FIFTH ENTRY IN A ROW is a Robert Lewandowski goal. And this is his best yet. Mario Gotze crosses in from the right and the Pole with a flying acrobatic volley smashes it past Diego Benaglio.

    Robert Lewandowski
  64. GOAL - Bayern Munich 4-1 Wolfsburg

    Robert Lewandowski (57 mins)

One of the most remarkable striking displays I've seen in my life. Douglas Costa crosses in from the left and there's Robert Lewandowski AGAIN! The Pole just volleys the ball home with ease from 12 yards out.

    Robert Lewandowski
  65. GOAL - Bayern Munich 3-1 Wolfsburg

    Robert Lewandowski (55 mins)

This is a striking masterclass. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this. Robert Lewandowski, on at half-time, has scored three goals across three minutes and 22 seconds.

The Pole is found by Mario Gotze. His first shot hits the post, his second is saved by Diego Benaglio but he gets a third effort and guides it home.

And with that the game is surely over.

    Robert Lewandowski
  66. GOAL - Bayern Munich 2-1 Wolfsburg

    Robert Lewandowski (52 mins)

Unbelievable. Before I could even tell you about that goal, Robert Lewandowski has absolutely smashed in a second from 25 yards. What a strike. What a substitution. What a game.

    Robert Lewandowski
  67. GOAL - Bayern Munich 1-1 Wolfsburg

    Robert Lewandowski (51 mins)

Robert Lewandowski has been on the pitch six minutes and he's levelled it up from close range.

    Robert Lewandowski
  68. Atletico Madrid 1-0 Getafe

Getafe defender Carlos Vigaray is injured after a clash of heads with Antoine Griezmann. Well a clash of the Atletico player's shoulder with his head. A stretcher is brought out for him.

  69. KICK-OFF - Atletico Madrid 1-0 Getafe

Also second half o'clock in Madrid.

  70. KICK-OFF - Bayern Munich 0-1 Wolfsburg

And the second half is under way now.

    Bayern Munich 0-1 Wolfsburg

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola isn't happy and makes a double change at half-time. Striker Robert Lewandowski and holding midfielder Javi Martinez replace Thiago and Juan Bernat.

  72. KICK-OFF - Paris St-Germain 0-0 Guingamp

Under way at the Parc des Princes.

  73. YELLOW CARD

    Udinese 0-2 AC Milan

And that's probably the Mario Balotelli Liverpool fans recognise more. The striker is booked for a late challenge.

  74. Can PSG return to winning ways?

    Paris St-Germain v Guingamp (20:00 BST)

    Laurent Blanc

Back-to-back-to-back French champions Paris St-Germain take on Guingamp tonight.

They won their first four Ligue 1 games this season but have now drawn two in a row, against Bordeaux and Reims.

"We were disappointed after the match with Reims," boss Laurent Blanc said. "But we've had matches like that before, and we'll have them again. You can't be in tip-top form all season long."

Guingamp lost their first three games, but have won their second block of three to sit eighth.

  75. GOAL - Udinese 0-2 AC Milan

  80. Udinese 0-0 AC Milan

Mario Balotelli wins a free-kick for AC Milan as he goes down on the edge of the area after being clipped by Edenilson.

  81. HALF-TIME - Bayern Munich 0-1 Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg are 50% of the way towards a first ever away victory over Bayern Munich - and another (joint) record.

The Wolves are unbeaten in 14 games - their record of 15 was set last season.

  82. KICK-OFF - Udinese 0-0 AC Milan

We are under way in Udine.

  83. HALF-TIME - Atletico Madrid 1-0 Getafe

Atletico Madrid lead at the break.

  84. Can AC Milan get season going?

Udinese v AC Milan (19:45 BST)

    Sinisa Mihajlovic

We will also be bringing you updates from AC Milan's match at Udinese - where Mario Balotelli makes his first start of the season..

The Rossoneri were hoping of having a better season under new boss Sinisa Mihajlovic after a couple of years of mid-table nothingness, but their start hasn't been great - wins over Empoli and Palermo offset by defeats by Fiorentina and Inter Milan.

Udinese beat Juventus on the opening day but have lost their next three games to sit in the relegation zone.

  85. Bayern Munich 0-1 Wolfsburg

I've just seen another replay - it was literally just inches wide. Remarkable by Neuer and Guilavogui - for very different reasons.

  86. Bayern Munich 0-1 Wolfsburg

Oh my - Wolfsburg almost scored the goal of the season. What on earth is Manuel Neuer doing there? The Bayern goalkeeper is pretty much on the halfway line trying to sort things out and Josuha Guilavogui has a shot from at least 60 yards - for a minute it looks like it's going in but drops just wide of the empty net.

  87. YELLOW CARD

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Getafe

Getafe defender Alexis is booked for a challenge on Fernando Torres, who is on 99 goals for Atletico.

  88. Bayern Munich 0-1 Wolfsburg

Julian Draxler does a couple of step-overs and has a go from 20 yards but it's easily saved by Manuel Neuer. Is Wolfsburg's first ever win away to Bayern on the cards? Their record is one draw from 21 games.

  89. Bayern Munich 0-1 Wolfsburg

A great save from Diego Benaglio to keep Wolfsburg level. Douglas Costa tries a fierce first-time shot from the edge of the penalty area but the Swiss keeper keeps it out.

  90. GOAL - Bayern Munich 0-1 Wolfsburg

  100. GOAL - Atletico Madrid 1-0 Getafe

    Antoine Griezmann (4 mins)

It hasn't taken Atletico Madrid long to get going against Getafe. The visitiors fail to clear a corner and Antoine Griezmann controls a ball back into the box before swivelling and firing home.

  114. Bayern sick of the Wolves?

Bayern Munich v Wolfsburg (19:00 BST)

    Wolfsburg lift Super Cup

Wolfsburg are starting to prove something of a bogey team for Bayern Munich.

They beat them 4-1 in their last league meeting in January, and beat them on penalties in the German Super Cup this summer.

But last season's runners-up and cup winners have never come away from Bayern Munich with a win. Is tonight the night that changes?
