"They have not been playing well away from home and they are not playing like champions, there is a casualness. For me, it may have gone now."

"Great confidence coming through this entire Stoke team - they will remember today. I would be very surprised if they don't go on to finish well up in the top 10. If everybody stays fit, they could challenge for Europe.

"Meanwhile, it's tough times for Manuel Pellegrini and Manchester City. There were a lot of failures in that team today."

There it is, the full-time whistle. Mark Hughes leads Stoke City to victory over his former team. Have Stoke become Barcelona? Who knows?

Marko Arnautovic is still trying to have a scrap with anyone who moves. But his two goals and Xherdan Shaqiri's mastery have been the difference.

That's it from me here, but there will be ongoing reaction and build up to the rest of the games over here.

Marko Arnautovic is having a few words with most of the Man City players. Settle down Marko, your work here is done.

There will be three minutes of injury time.

Raheem Sterling, one of many disappointing Man City players today, has a go from distance. It's nowhere near.

That's Ibrahim Afellay done for the day. Jon Walters in on in his place for Stoke. Very little happening at the moment. Man City have no ideas.

In case Man City score, I need to get this cracking stat in quickly.

Stoke have not conceded a Premier League goal with Ryan Shawcross on the pitch this season. Share that one with your mates in the pub tonight.

"Despite the fact that there's been a bit of frustration and a bit of negativity about his missed chances, Xherdan Shaqiri has still been working hard for his team.

"His attitude has been generally brilliant."

Things go from bad to worse for Man City. Fernandinho pulls up with a hamstring injury and heads straight to the bench. Man City have used all their subs... they'll be playing with 10 men.

Xherdan Shakiri thinks he's in training. The Swiss puts a pass right through the heart of the Man City defence that Bojan gets on to, but his first touch puts it against Joe Hart and City clear.

That's Bojan's last contribution, as he goes off for Joselu.

"It's a tap-in! Xherdan Shaqiri went with his left foot - he has to go with his right there! He has to score.

"But the quality. The back-heel from Bojan, the pass from Marko Arnautovic... honestly we need to edit all the little Barcelona-like flicks on Match of the Day tonight."
