    Stoke 2-0 Man City

After the hammering from Liverpool, now this... I've no idea how many billions we've spent- but it's beyond a joke when a team that cost so much can play so badly. Embarrassing. Difficult to see where the actual problem lies. Players just after mon£y? Tactics? Motivation?

    Stoke are having fun.

Bojan's cheekiest of cheeky back heels puts Marko Arnautovic in down the left. Maybe he should shoot? But he rolls it across for Xherdan Shaqiri who can't get a toe on it. Man City survive.

Stoke are playing as deep as they have done all afternoon, but look relatively comfortable. Kevin De Bruyne is having a frustrating time of it - he can't pick off those killer passes.

Fabian Delph lines one up from 25 yards. And it's about 25 yards over the Stoke bar. His goal last week seems to have gone to his head.

Marko Arnautovic decides it's time to give Xherdan Shaqiri a chance. He lays it off for the Swiss, but his shot from the edge of the area is gathered by Man City keeper Joe Hart.

Navas is on for David Silva. The Spaniard has been out of sorts - but this was his first start for a couple of months.

"The players that are missing from this Manchester City side have been the core of their team when they've been successful, and they've missed them hugely.

"Get them back and for me City are still favourites for the title. But they need to get them back."

Man City are seeing more of the ball in the final third. They're not seeing any more of the whites of Jack Butland's eyes, though.

It's time people stopped trying to brand teams with a playing style. Teams play differently depending on situation, first team, substitutions except a few examples (Barca 07-09). Stoke can play some wonderful football when they're up for it.

"That most recent close chance for Stoke must have been the final straw, for Manuel Pellegrini. The Manchester City manager's thought: 'Oh no, that's it. We're going to get done here.'

"I'm surprised the changes didn't come earlier."

Man City start to make changes - although they seem confused about who's coming off. Finally, Wilfried Bony and Fernandinho are off.

Fabian Delph and Kelechi Iheanacho are on.

Here's how windy it is. It took Kevin De Bruyne four attempts to find a place to put the ball for a corner where it wouldn't be blown out of the quadrant.

Just before that Man City wanted a penalty, as Ryan Shawcross headed against Glenn Whelan's hand. None given.

And now Bojan is at the other end drawing a sharp save from Joe Hart, and Marko Arnautovic can't put away the rebound.

"I'm surprised there have been no changes from Manchester City at half-time. Perhaps it's the old: 'Go out and show me what you can do for the first 10 minutes.'

"Fabian Delph and Jesus Navas are warming up - and I'd be very surprised if we didn't see one or both of them very soon."

Desperate stuff from Aleksandar Kolarov, who swings a hopeful ball into the Stoke area from deep. It's simple for Jack Butland, although he does have a little fumble before gathering.
