MK Dons host a resurgent Ipswich, who celebrated an awards double earlier this week.

Mick McCarthy was named the Championship's manager of the month for November, while striker Daryl Murphy was rewarded for his return to goalscoring form with the player of the month prize.

The Dons are struggling - they lie 20th in the table with only two wins from their last 16 league games.

It's a 12:30 GMT kick-off at Stadium MK. BBC Sport's live text commentary of today's early Championship fixture has just got under way here.

  4. 'England are going to win it'published at 12:07

    Euro 2016

In case you've not seen Greg Dyke's confident assertion about England's Euro 2016 chances, here it is. To be fair, what else is Dyke going to say? "I'm looking forward to Euro 2016, particularly as we'll be out by June 20th and I watch a bit of Wimbledon."

Cheers Caroline. First up, have you heard the news? England are going to win Euro 2016! No, seriously, Greg Dyke says so. So all you England fans can stop worrying about who we get in the draw later and all the rest of you can stop dreaming. It's coming home.

If the Euro 2016 draw is the highlight of your day it'll be coming along at about 17:00 GMT (with the obligatory hour build-up). Before that, though, there's some actual football to take care of. And that is what we are going to be focusing on here.

  6. Postpublished at 12:00

Time for me to depart this fair live text and head over to something a bit more gritty (West Ham v Stoke).

I'll leave you in the capable hands of Phil Dawkes, who's going to steer you through the trials and tribulations of Saturday's football action.

  7. 'Norwich need to sign goalscorer'published at 11:58

    Norwich v Everton (12:45 GMT)

    Martin Fisher
Match of the Day commentator at Carrow Road

"Norwich boss Alex Neil has enough credit in the bank to avoid coming under any great pressure just yet but he'll be concerned by his side's current struggles, with only goal difference now keeping his side out of the relegation zone.

"Neil hasn't been scared to change personnel and switch systems but their major problem remains a lack of goals. A proven goalscorer must top their shopping list come January.

"What he would give for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku. Only Jamie Vardy has scored more than his 11 Premier League goals. And like the Leicester striker, Lukaku is on a roll having scored in his last five in the league. A few more and Vardy's recently established record could come under threat."

    Norwich v Everton (12:45 GMT)

Some tiny Everton fans have made the 254-mile trip to Norwich for the early kick-off at Carrow Road.

Will the Canaries end their run of three matches without a victory? Or will Everton remain unbeaten for a sixth game?

What's the dullest match you've ever seen? What did you do to entertain yourself?

Chris Gunn: When I was younger and a goalkeeper we were so good that I use to run around the goal to keep busy.

Conor Matchett: Can I say every United game this season? I was at the United PSV game at Old Trafford and that would have cured anyone's insomnia.

  11. Championship previewpublished at 11:41

There were two Championship fixtures on Friday night, but that still leaves 10 to play today, with leaders Brighton aiming to maintain their status via a visit to third-placed Derby. Middlesbrough trail Brighton by two points and they host Birmingham City at the Riverside.

Hull were labelled “pathetic” by manager Steve Bruce following their loss at Leeds last Saturday, and they have the chance to atone in front of their own fans when they host last-placed Bolton. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s takes charge of his first game at QPR, against Burnley at Loftus Road.

Reading, tipped to appoint former manager Brian McDermott but currently under Martin Kuhl’s tutelage, are at Preston.

    Give us a smile, Quique

Quique Sanchez Flores isn't on board with English football's cliches. Not one bit.

The Watford boss says he doesn’t agree with Sunderland counterpart Sam Allardyce’s description of their game as a six pointer.

The Hornets travel to the Stadium of Light sitting tenth in the table, while the Black Cats are second from bottom and a point from safety.

“I understand (what a six pointer is) but I will never in my life agree,” said Flores. , external

"It is just three points. If we win then we get the three points."

What's the dullest match you've ever seen? What did you do to entertain yourself?

Nathan Odell: Kettering v Luton in our first season in non-league. Started to count the amount of police instead...

Mark Stillman: I was a neutral at Saints v WBA, Aug 2014. 0-0. Looked at the scoreboard and hoardings quite a bit as nowt happened on the pitch.

Colin Whitbread: Watford v Southend Boxing Day about 20 years ago. Just abysmal. No shots on goal or anything. Still the worst game I've ever seen. Tolerated it till five minutes from the end and then when I was half way down Vicarage Road, a roar went up. My mate said to me: 'We can't have scored, surely?' But we had.

    Yaya Toure's won an award....

The Manchester City man, who first won in 2013, beat Yacine Brahimi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Andre Ayew and Sadio Mane to the accolade.

The 32-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder becomes only the third player to receive the award twice, joining Nigerians Nwankwo Kanu and Jay-Jay Okocha.

    An elite group indeed.

The focus has been on Swansea this week following Garry Monk's dismissal.

But it's a big day for opponents Manchester City as well.

Manuel Pellegrini's men have won just two of their last six Premier League games, but could go top if with they beat the Swans - with current leaders Leicester not playing until Monday.

City will be without top scorer Sergio Aguero, who is still sidelined with a heel injury, but will be buoyed by their 4-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League on Tuesday.

What's the dullest match you've ever seen? What did you do to entertain yourself?

Nick Horton: Arsenal v Birmingham City, 1982. 0-0. Don Howe was the Arsenal boss at the time and I remember his programme notes that day about the pluses of 'keeping clean sheets'. The next home game and there was a letter in the match day programme. 'Dear Mr Howe, if I wanted to see clean sheets on a Saturday afternoon, I'd pop down the launderette.'

Book man Dan: Bundesliga, 2011-12 season, Kaiserslautern vs Koln (0-1). A dreary winter Sunday afternoon. Got all the ironing done.

Has Sepp Blatter been around forever?

    Well, this is awkward.

Have a look at what happenedin the draw for the 1982 World Cup, which suffered from a number of mishaps and technical problems.

With Sepp Blatter, then Fifa's general secretary, presiding over the draw in Madrid, there was confusion as several teams were drawn in the wrong groups, before the cages began to jam and break the balls inside.

Let's hope it's goes better at today's Euro 2016 draw in Paris.

  19. Mourinho's siege mentalitypublished at 11:02

    Leicester v Chelsea (Mon)

    Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on BBC Radio 5 live

"You can see Jose Mourinho is about siege mentality, ‘it’s us against everyone else’. That kind of management burns players out quicker than telling them to go out and enjoy themselves.

"Mourinho has never been in this position before – neither have the players. When things did start to go wrong, he wasn’t sure how to change it. I saw Bournemouth think ‘we can win this game’. Other sides saw a chink in their armour. Leicester is a game they wouldn’t want now.

"I don’t think they’ll make the top four – there’s too many issues. The question is can Leicester make the top four? There’s a perfect storm for them at the moment. They seem to have this momentum and belief.

"Credit to Claudio Ranieri for not changing everything when he took over in the summer. We’ll have to start talking about them as contenders for the top four. I don’t see why they can’t stay unbeaten. I think Leicester will win this game."
