Pep Guardiola's side start the day eight points clear at the top of the table but will extend that to 11 with victory - if only for a couple of hours - as second-placed Borussia Dortmund's match at third-placed Wolfsburg does not start until 17:30 GMT. The big news from Bayern Munich's dressing room is midfielder Franck Ribery is on the bench. The five-time Bundesliga title winner has been out since March with an ankle injury.
