    Stoke 2-0 Man Utd

C Li: Just caught the Utd scoreline. Can't see LVG surviving till next year. Question is Mour negative style or Pep talk?

Patrick Galvin: All this talk of Jose to MUFC...they should really look at Mark Hughes. Brilliant at Blackburn and look at Stoke now?

Matt Harding: Never wanted Mourinho at Utd, but I'd take anybody else right now.

Will Manchester United's board be making any big decisions in the coming minutes/hours/days?

Marouane Fellaini had Manchester United's best chance at the Britannia but his low shot was brilliantly saved by Jack Butland. Fellaini should have scored - but it was a fine save.

  13. 'Nervous times for Swansea'published at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2015

Swansea v West Brom (15:00 GMT)

    John Roder
MOTD commentator at the Liberty Stadium

"These are nervous times for Swansea, and if results go badly over the festive period it could leave the Swans with a significant gap between them and safety.

"Only four players have scored for them in the Premier League this season, while they've managed to score just three times in their last seven matches; worrying statistics.

"West Brom arrive in South Wales needing a win of their own to extend their points total over the bottom three.

"Goals may be in short supply in this one, but you'd think the Baggies might just be too strong for the managerless Swans."

    Chelsea v Watford (15:00 GMT)

Guus Hiddink makes just one change to the starting line-up for his first game back at Stamford Bridge.

Kurt Zouma is replaced by Gary Cahill in central defence. Eden Hazard has recovered well enough from a hip injury to be on the bench.

One change for Watford too after that demolition of Liverpool last week. Nathan Ake is on loan from Chelsea, so can't play. In comes Jose Holebas.

  15. 'A blockbuster Boxing Day mystery'published at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2015

    Tottenham v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Jonathan Pearce
MOTD commentator at White Hart Lane

"There has traditionally been a blockbuster Boxing Day mystery on the TV schedules. This could be a riddle too. Which Tottenham will turn up?

"The side so fluent in victory at Southampton and so capable of finishing in the top three at least? Or the team that threw away home points against Newcastle?

"This starts a slippery run of festive fixtures. They must win this. But will they be over reliant again on Harry Kane?

"Norwich have shown in the win at Man Utd and the draws against Everton and Arsenal that they will be defiant and durable. If they handle Kane, they can draw this."

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has a message of hope and faith for the home fans at the Liberty Stadium.

Could it be a bit of a dig at sacked manager Garry Monk? And the reason that the Swans reportedly approached former boss Brendan Rodgers about a return to his old stomping ground?

“We must stay true to everything that has worked well for us, made us different and brought us success over the last 12 years," Jenkins writes.

“We need to get better and cleverer at what we have always done and not change what we all believe in.

“We must gradually get back to the Swansea way of playing and quietly restore confidence and belief in what we do to get the best out of the current squad of players."
