Stoke 2-0 Man Utd

"What a shot that was, an absolute belter. The goalkeeper had no chance and the Manchester Untied fans behind that goal are trying to rally their team. Boy, do they need rallying.
"Defensively, United do no look secure at all. You have to close it down. Where are the big boys? Time to stand up and be counted."

Josh Hammond: Well... who didn't see this coming...
Jean-Paul Brayer: If Man United get to the 40-point mark they will be safe - just let us have a bit of confidence in Van Gaal!
Adesanya Gabriel: The only silver lining about the score right now is that Louis van Gaal will be sacked. It wasn't this bad under David Moyes

Man City v Sunderland (15:00 GMT)
Manchester United are struggling, but Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes he has the strongest team in the Premier League - when all his players are fit.
City are third in the table, six points behind leaders Leicester after Monday's 2-1 defeat at Arsenal.
Captain Vincent Kompany, 29, is set to return after eight matches out. Striker Sergio Aguero has missed 11 games.
"We are in all the competitions and we did that without a lot of important players," said Pellegrini.
"But, of course, with all the players fit and playing every game, we are the strongest team."

Marko Arnautovic
Pick that one out!
Stoke double their lead with a belting hit from Marko Arnautovic, a swerving strike from 22 yards after a free-kick was blocked. Manchester United may need Wayne Rooney after all!

Steve Huish, Surbiton: If Manchester City can get all the players back from injury City will win the title.
Olly Saunders, Holloway: Arsenal to be champions. End of.
Leicester v Liverpool (15:00 GMT)
Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Football Focus
"There are massive positives but some of Jurgen Klopp's ideas haven't transferred to performances on the pitch. It is not just the results, but the performances on the pitch too.
"Leicester will sit deeper but no-one is better than them on the break. There is no fear when they go forward."

"I am looking at Louis van Gaal, he can't do anything about that. I don't know what Memphis Depay is trying to do there, diving to head the ball back to the goalkeeper, it got nowhere.
"What a gift that is and more pressure on the manager."
Stoke 1-0 Man Utd
Callum Anderson: Low confidence makes you do stupid, stupid things...as Memphis demonstrated there. Why didn't he just hook it out?! Anywhere!
Sam Scrivens: Man Utd are so bad they make Stoke look good......Stoke ARE good. Bojan, Shaqiri, 1-0, Van Gaal fired.

Bojan
Memphis Depay with a horrible back-header, lets in Glen Johnson, he squares it and Bojan is able to tap in on the line.
Louis van Gaal, having a nightmare...

Southampton v Arsenal (19:45 GMT)
Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Football Focus
"There's no doubt that Petr Cech is making a difference to Arsenal this season. At just 14 goals conceded they've got best defence in the Premier League. What a springboard that is to be able to attack from.
"Arsenal are a team in form, and if you look at their squad I really think they should go on to win the league this year. Whether they will is in doubt because they haven't done it for so long."

Jimmy Armfield
BBC Radio 5 live at the Britannia Stadium
"When Louis van Gaal came to Manchester United, he came with a real reputation. You look at the clubs he has managed - Ajax, Barcelona, Bayern Munich - but it is all about results.
"Going out of the Champions League was the big one, there wouldn't have been the same pressure on him. Consequently, he has to come up with some formula to change results. This is a big one for him."
Stoke 0-0 Man Utd
I don't know what Louis van Gaal's gameplan without Wayne Rooney was for today, but Manchester United have been poor in the opening stages. Stoke have had 60% of possession but are yet to hurt David de Gea. Ashley Young is playing at right-back too.
Early match at Cambridge.
There are eight matches in League Two today (as things stand). Managerless Dagenham & Redbridge start the day bottom of the Football League but they would move out of the relegation zone if they beat Cambridge at 13:00 GMT.
At 15:00, second-bottom Yeovil visit leaders Plymouth, while third-placed Oxford are at home to Exeter.
Portsmouth, who could go top if several results go their way, are away to Leyton Orient.
Elsewhere, AFC Wimbledon are at home to Bristol Rovers, Barnet host Newport, Stevenage visit Crawley and Luton - yet to appoint a manager - are at home to Wycombe.
Chelsea v Watford (15:00 GMT)
Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Football Focus
"There is no doubt that Odion Ighalo can cut it as a Premier League striker. No doubt at all - just look at his goals.
"His goalscoring form has been a key part of Watford's success but so has their defence. They've conceded just 16 goals, and a big part of that solidity is how their line starts high up the pitch.
"When you play as a 4-4-2 one of the strikers has to drop into midfield to help out. Troy Deeney has been doing that better than anyone else in the league."
Chelsea v Watford (15:00 GMT)
Who starts as favourite at Stamford Bridge this afternoon?
I'm not sure if a Watford win would register much on the upset-o-meter any more...
