It means a lot, we keep on pushing up the table. Against 10 men is never easy but it was important to get the victory and three points. We kept on going and believing and got the second goal when Son tapped it in. It is important we get as many points as we can, we have a young squad but they have a good mentality and we can go all the way.

    Man Utd 0-0 Chelsea

Players from both these sides have been accused of downing tools and not trying?

Don't think Chris Smalling got the memo, he's just galloped across to the right wing and chopped down Eden Hazard with his axe-like right leg.

Yellow card, the third of the game.

Per Mertesacker, standing about a yard out, is the closest player as the ball comes back off the post, but the ball hits him on the head and goes wide. Lol.

  8. 'We're pleased with the point'published at 18:02

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Swansea

Swansea captain Ashley Williams: “I think it’s a tough place to come. We’ve had three clean sheets on the bounce. We’re pleased with today’s work.

“We needed to make the change, because it wasn’t really working. We knew that coming to away grounds, we’d have to stand up and be counted.

“Lukasz Fabianski made some good saves, but Wayne Hennessey pulled out an unbelievable save. Not many stop Gylfi Sigurdsson’s free-kicks, but that was an unbelievable save.”

That magician Mesut Ozil looking to conjure up some more magic. He almost does, with a dinked ball into the box towards Theo Walcott, but the England man can't get any purchase on the cross and it bounces through to Artur Boruc.

    Watford 1-2 Tottenham

Watford midfielder Ben Watson: "It is a tough one to take, I thought we deserved something out of the game , we worked hard and they didn’t really create. They had a few shots from distance but we were solid and looked like getting a point.

"I thought our disallowed goal could have won the game and then we went down the other end and lost it. It’s football, we get on with it. It has been a fantastic half to the season and will continue that and go on again against Manchester City."

  16. Postpublished at 17:50

Bournemouth are very much in this game and the runs of striker Josh King are of concern to home centre-backs Per Mertesacker and Gabriel.

Arsenal haven't been able to work Artur Boruc yet.

  18. Palace in Europe? Maybe...published at 17:48

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Swansea

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew: “Swansea set up to be very disciplined, and two days after the last game, that was probably missing. The ball seemed to be a magnet on Ashley Williams. But Patrick Bamford had a great chance, and nine times out of 10, he’ll bury it.

“Patrick’s a goalscorer in training, but he’s had three or four chances, and not taken them. We will take a draw; 31 points at this stage is fabulous for it.

“In this calendar year, we’d be in Europe, but the season is half-done. If we can get our strikers back quickly, we’ll have a chance."

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 17:47

    Man Utd 0-0 Chelsea

For the second time in the game, Manchester United hit the woodwork. It was Juan Mata who struck the crossbar in the second minute, this time it's Anthony Martial who is the unlucky man.

The Frenchman cuts in from the left past Branislav Ivanovic, before unleashing a low drive which comes back off the inside of the post. Thibaut Courtois was beaten.

  20. Manager reactionpublished at 17:45

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Swansea

Swansea caretaker boss Alan Curtis: "It was an excellent point against a very good Crystal Palace team. They showed today why they are where they are in the table. We’re unbeaten in three with three clean sheets. That’s a huge improvement on where we’ve been of late.

“No one let us down. A few players were tired out there. Jordi Amat’s calves were screaming at the end. We made a few more changes than we wanted because of little niggles.

“I’ve got to say I’m enjoying the job, but as I said to Palace boss Alan Pardew at the end, I don’t know how he keeps going as a full-time manager. I’ve only done it for two weeks, and my voice has gone, looks have gone and my hair’s starting to go!"
