  1. Lingard eases Man Utd's nervespublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    Man Utd 1-0 Stoke

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Old Trafford

"A roar of approval around Old Trafford as Jesse Lingard's stooping header at the far post ends that barren sequence of 11 home games without a first-half goal for Manchester United.

"It was needed after a quiet start here and the first few groans of the night in the 12th minute when Chris Smalling brought the ball into the Stoke City half but was left frustrated by a lack of movement.

"Will do the confidence of Louis van Gaal's side the world of good."

Southampton are getting close. Oriol Romeu beats Petr Cech with a curling, dipping effort from the edge of the box but also beats the crossbar by a yard.

    50p head!

Lamine Kone gets in front of his marker at a free-kick and, with the goal at his mercy, nuts it wide. A scuffed header, if you will.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Bournemouth

Pretty even game still at Selhurst.

Has anyone seen that American documentary on Palace by the way? I'm desperate to see Pards on screen...

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    West Ham 0-0 Aston Villa

Not sure quite how West Ham are not ahead here! Villa keeper Mark Bunn paws out a cross to James Tomkins, he fires in a shot into the six-yard box and Enner Valencia just needs to get in the way of it! He does, but can only guide his header over. It looked easier to score etc...

  7. CLOSE!published at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    Man Utd 1-0 Stoke

Ah and it could be two for Manchester United. Anthony Martial breezes past his man on the left, cuts inside and then finds the side-netting. That Martial breeze-and-cut is fast becoming a trademark.

    Harry Kane penalty (30 mins)

Easy for Tottenham, who seem to have some real momentum about them. The penalty came following a similar situation to the opening goal - goalkeeper Declan Rudd fumbling a shot - and Harry Kane steps up to convert from the spot. Groundhog Day.

  9. PENALTY FOR SPURSpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    Norwich 0-1 Tottenham

Harry Kane's shot, pushed out by the keeper and Dele Alli is sent tumbling as he looks to turn in the follow-up. Sebastien Bassong is booked for his troubles.

    Jesse Lingard (14 mins)

A goal in the first half at Old Trafford! Ring out the church bells! Cameron Borthwick-Jackson sends in a lovely cross from the left, early and whipped, it falls for Jesse Lingard at the back post and he stoops to plant the diving header into the net. Very nicely taken.

  13. CLOSE!published at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    Sunderland 0-1 Man City

Manchester City's front two link up nicely: Kelechi Iheanacho dropping off and battling away from his marker to slide the ball to Sergio Ageuro, who drags it back and clips a deflected shot just over the bar. Aguero, by the way, seems to have run off his knock.

    Leicester 0-0 Liverpool

100mph football, punk football at Leicester. No wonder Stuart Pearce is buzzing.

Liverpool playing their part though, loads of the ball for the Reds but no cutting edge as of yet.

    Man Utd 0-0 Stoke

Stoke now having a good spell of possession as Bojan and Marko Arnautovic knit play together in the shadow of Peter Crouch. Stoke and Leicester two of the better sides to watch this season?

"This is like a game of basketball - it's counter attack to counter attack. Leicester have got their tails up. Players today so often like to play the ball sideways but Leicester are always looking to play the forward pass. The first thing they do is look forward."

    West Ham 0-0 Aston Villa

Unsurprisingly it has been all West Ham since Villa went down to 10 men. The hosts haven't tested Mark Bunn in net just yet though, You get the feeling that one goal may breach the floodgates - this Villa side are woefully short on belief.
