  1. Another big night for Van Gaalpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    Man Utd 0-0 Stoke

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Old Trafford

"Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal acknowledged some low-key, polite applause from the home support with three waves as he walked along the touchline at Old Trafford before the start of tonight's game.

"Better than when he last walked down that touchline - to furious jeers after the home defeat to Southampton."

  2. CLOSE!published at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    Arsenal 0-0 Southampton

How's Mesut not scored there? He latches on to Olivier Giroud's header, six yards out, but pokes his effort straight at the keeper.

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    Norwich 0-1 Tottenham

Son Heung-min of Tottenham competes for the ballImage source, Getty Images

Son Heung-min almost makes it 2-0. The South Korea attacking midfielder produces a cheeky deft flick from Harry Kane's left-wing cross that is instinctively pushed behind by keeper Declan Rudd.

    Man Utd 0-0 Stoke

Wayne Rooney, perhaps with confidence coursing through his veins for once, shoots from 25 yards but it's an easy save for Jack Butland.

    Sunderland 0-1 Man City

A concern for Manchester City fans as Sergio Aguero hobbles about the pitch, seemingly after hurting himself scoring the opening goal. Not again, Sergio.

    Leicester 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool playing as well as I've seen them in a while. James Milner a force down the left in these early stages.

  9. CLOSE!published at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    West Brom 0-0 Swansea

TP's got the lads fired up for this one: Darren Fletcher having an early header tipped over the bar.

First attack for Manchester United ends with Juan Mata having a shot deflected over the top. Plenty of near things around the grounds tonight.

Ash: Liverpool either need a sweeper for this match or defend deeper. Leicester getting behind far too easily with their pace.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Bournemouth

Great start from Palace as Joel Ward drills a cross right across goal, it's crying out for a tap-in but a defender gets there first.

One for Adebayor to feast his eyes on.

  13. RED CARD - Jordan Ayewpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    West Ham 0-0 Aston Villa

As if Aston Villa were not in enough trouble, they are down to 10 men as forward Jordan Ayew loses his rag and elbow Aaron Cresswell in the face. Brainless.

    Sergio Aguero (16 mins)

It's been coming... after all, Sunderland do have John O'Shea marking Sergio Aguero. It's like trying to keep up with an F1 car in a Fiesta. Yaya Toure and Aguero play a neat one-two, the ball is worked out wide and Jesus Navas' low cross is slightly diverted into the path of the Argentine striker who takes a touch and clips the ball above and beyond Vito Mannone.

    Leicester 0-0 Liverpool

It's a very good game at the King Power, both sides looking dangerous in attack. Liverpool twice break into the area but on both occasion they take the wrong choice.

Tottenham look well in control here, but Dieumerci Mbokani does manage to fashion some room on the edge of the area and fire in a low shot which is saved by Hugo Lloris.
