"Leicester are fantastic on the counter attack. They break from their own half with pace and power, but if Liverpool defend deep against them they might just nullify them."

Yaya Toure steps into the tunnel and is instantly flanked by two young mascots. He gets a pat on the back from Manchester City assistant manager Brian Kidd. Here comes Joe Hart. "Work, work, work, whole game," he says.

"Are your family here, your mam and dad?" John O'Shea asks a mascot.

"WHOLE GAME, WHOLE GAME," screams Hart.

Sunderland v Man City (19:45 GMT)

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce speaks to BBC Sport:

"I think I've said that I had to be active in the window. The players have tried very hard but overall we didn’t achieve enough results. The only thing then is to do something in the window. We have taken that calculated risk.

Will Manchester City be distracted after the news on Pellegrini?: "The one thing that top players want to achieve is to win trophies. I think Manchester City have been building for that for many, many years now. It's a strange one but rather than let it sneak out they made an official announcement which is probably better for all parties."

There are reports Aston Villa boss Remi Garde appears to be reconsidering his position, external at the club following the club's failed moves in the transfer market.

"I am disappointed. I know that the team needs some strengthening and improvement with new players," he said.

"We are bottom of the league and not very attractive for players.

"Also, financially speaking the club is in the situation probably where they did not want to spend too much money and I can understand that."

"The most important thing for them now, in this title race, is getting Vincent Kompnay fit. Without Kompany I think Arsenal will win the league."
