Good question. I make it 254, at an average of 23 years old. Juan Mata, at 27, is the oldest player. 

So close! Alexis Sanchez takes a poor touch in the penalty area but reacts amazingly quickly to get back onto the ball and arc a shot around a man and against the base of the post! It looked in all the way but the ball pops up into the hands of Lukasz Fabianski.

It's a high tempo start from Stoke but no chances as of yet.

I know it's a bit of a tired and laboured point - but there are lots and lots and lots of empty seats at the Emirates. Thousands.
