  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Southampton 0-0 Sunderland

What a chance! What a save!

A dull encounter sparks into life when Graziano Pelle heads down for Dusan Tadic inside the Sunderland box. The bounce is a little awkward but Tadic connects well to guide a shot towards goal, only to be denied by a fine one-handed Vito Mannone save.

Steven Taylor own goal (28 mins)

When things are going against you, these things seem to keep happening. Max Gradel does really well to keep hold of the ball outside the box before finding Josh King wide left and his low cross is deflected in by the sliding Steven Taylor as he attempted to block.

    Steve McClaren's problems deepen.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Man City 0-0 Aston Villa

Joe Hart is called into action for the first time to produce a really good low save to keep out Jordan Ayew's shot. It is the first time Villa have shown any attacking intent.

    Everton 1-0 West Ham

Adrian prevents Everton scoring a second as he produces a good save to keep out Ross Barkley's volley from just inside the box.

    Chelsea 0-0 Stoke

While Chelsea's attacking play will have Guus Hiddink purring, he'll be having heart palpitations from their defending.

Twice they have been left exposed to Stoke counters - the first time Ibrahim Afellay brings out a good save from Thibaut Courtois, before Afellay's cross is straight to the feet of Mame Biram Diouf, but he spoons his shot over. Should have done better.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Man City 0-0 Aston Villa

Aguero.... wide! The City striker exchanges passes with Wilfried Bony on the edge of the box but his shot from 18 yards goes just past the post.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Newcastle 0-0 Bournemouth

Newcastle turn it on for a minute and almost take the lead as Emmanuel Riviere's shot from inside the box from Daryl Janmaat is defelcted just wide by a diving Bournemouth defender.

    Swansea 0-0 Norwich

Still not a great deal to get excited about this game.

There's a bit of concern for Swansea as Andre Ayew is hurt after colliding with John Ruddy when challenging for a cross but, after a bit of treatment, he is good to go.

No shots on target from either side yet.

  9. 'Lacking urgency'published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Man City 0-0 Aston Villa

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"Manchester City are composed and are not in a hurry to do anything. They are taking their time about things.

"However, I do think they are lacking urgency; although they do have the players to pull goals out of the bag."

    Man City 0-0 Aston Villa

Aston Villa have plenty of men in and around their own box, looking to deny City any space. So far, it is working, but only because of a great save by Brad Guzan to deny Sergio Aguero and a bad miss by Wilfried Bony.

The away defence are going to have to put in one hell of a shift if they are to come out of this game with anything.

  11. Postpublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Southampton 0-0 Sunderland

A real chance for Southampton as Graziano Pelle pounces on a mistake by Younes Kaboul just outside the Sunderland box and he immediately has a go with an opportunistic strike. Wide.

  12. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Man City 0-0 Aston Villa

City should be ahead, and Wilfried Bony should have scored the goal. It is a brilliant ball from Gael Clichy but the striker can't steer his shot past Brad Guzan from close range.

  13. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Chelsea 0-0 Stoke

John Mikel Obi is looking sheepish, and with good reason.

Willian pulls the ball back to him on the edge of the area. He has acres of space and plenty of thinking time. Evidently that's not a good thing as he scoops the ball well, well over.

Mikel has scored one Premier League goal ever. Don't go rushing to bet on him to bag in this one either.

  14. goal

GOAL - Everton 1-0 West Hampublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku just loves playing against West Ham. He has kept up his record of scoring in all eight of his appearances against the Hammers. He is found in the box by Bryan Oviedo and turns Reece Oxford before firing in off the far post. Great finish.

    Everton 0-0 West Ham

West Ham go close at Goodison as Dimitri Payet charges forward before firing a low shot from 20 yards wide of the post. It is not wise for Everton to give the Hammers midfielder that much space.

  16. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Southampton 0-0 Sunderland

No chances of note in this game. The Black Cats may be wearing their ghost green third kit, but they are doing nothing to scare the Saints just yet.

Plenty of yellow cards being dished out early doors. I'm sensing a sending off in this one.

    Feisty.

  17. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Man City 0-0 Aston Villa

What a save from Brad Guzan! Sergio Aguero looked nailed onto score after collecting the ball in the box and cutting back in past a Villa defender but the keeper's fingernails deflects the ball just an inch over the bar. City have had about 90% of possession so far (and that is only a slight exaggeration!).

    Newcastle 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are finding their groove. A chipped cross from the right drops over a Newcastle defender and on to the chest of Benik Afobe, who can't quite get the ball down before hooking a shot over the bar. There are murmurs of discontent already from the home fans.

    Swansea 0-0 Norwich

It is all getting a bit twitchy at the bottom of the table, and this is a big game for both sides. Norwich, in particular, are desperate for the points and they have the first shot in this game as Nathan Redmond has a pop, but it is catching practice for Lukasz Fabianski.

  20. CLOSE!published at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Newcastle 0-0 Bournemouth

After Newcastle's strong start, Bournemouth are hitting back. The visitors almost take the lead as Max Gradel's shot, following a scramble in the box, deflects just wide of the post.
