  1. Postpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Man City 0-0 Villa

    Jimmy Armfield
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

"Navas looks like the only man who might stretch the Villa defence on the right flank. I don't know how many times Lescott has had to hook the ball out from the six yard box. I might give Kolarov a go on the left to balance it."

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Newcastle 0-1 Bournemouth

Steven Taylor is a man on a mission. He dearly wants to make amends for his own goal and he goes close with a shot from close range that deflects just past the post. It is the closest the home side have come to a goal. It results in a corner, but the away side clear.

  3. Postpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Southampton 0-0 Sunderland

We are getting all the seasons at St Mary's. After grey clouds and rain there is now bright sunshine dazzling the players' eyes.

That's about the only thing that is dazzling, though. Pretty dull game.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Everton 1-0 West Ham

Robles to the rescue for 10-man Everton. Aaron Cresswell's cross to the near post is met by a stabbed effort from Emmanuel Emenike but the home keeper is down quickly to block with his legs and keep it 1-0.

  6. Bore off at the bottompublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Swansea 0-0 Norwich

It's a thriller in this relegation scrap at the Liberty if you dig into the numbers. Some 40 minutes, just three shots, two of them went wide and one, by Nathan Redmond (22) on target.

    Hardly rip-roaring stuff.

  7. Postpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Man City 0-0 Aston Villa

I've just asked our reporter on the City v Villa game if the home side are being frustrated? "No, they're just terrible" is the reply. They have seen plenty of the ball but haven't done nearly enough with it against a defence-focused but stubborn Villa.

  8. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Stokepublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Bertrand Traore (40 mins)

    Lovely goal.

Nemanja Matic feeds Bertrand Traore on the edge of the area and the Chelsea man turns, takes a few touches to work a bit of space for himself before shooting into the bottom corner.

  9. 'Stay on your feet!'published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Everton 1-0 West Ham

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"The players will see that very differently than the fans will. He goes in very late, but it was not that bad of a challenge.

"But whoever you are - when you're already on a yellow card - you have to stay on your feet!"

  10. Kevin Mirallas challenge was 'unlucky'published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Everton 1-0 West Ham

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on Final Score

"It's silly. It's late but it's not outrageous. yes, it was a booking, a second yellow card but it's unlucky. If you've been booked once, you should be more careful."

  11. Postpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Newcastle 0-1 Bournemouth

Big penalty shouts from the Bournemouth fans as Benik Afobe looks to turn away from Steven Taylor before falling as the defender dives in. The referee is right not to give it, though. Afobe slipped.

The Cherries are well on top, though. You wouldn't be surpised to see them extent their lead before the break. The boos from the home fans are growing in volume.

  12. Postpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Chelsea 0-0 Stoke

In the absence of Diego Costa it seems Bertrand Traore is leading the Chelsea line. A tough start for him, just eight touches, that's less than anyone on the pitch inside the first half an hour.

It's very tight at the Bridge, not much in it in terms of possession. Chelsea have had seven shots, Stoke five.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Southampton 0-0 Sunderland

An unexpected chance for Sunderland as Fraser Forster is almost caught out by Wahbi Khazri's free-kick. The Southampton keeper appears to be taken by surprise by the effort, and has to touch the ball onto the post.

  14. RED CARD - Kevin Mirallas (Everton)published at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Everton 1-0 West Ham

A potential game-changer at Goodison. Kevin Mirallas has already been booked for diving before he slides in late on Aaron Cresswell. Referee Anthony Taylor allows matters to calm down before showing the home winger a second yellow followed by a red. The Toffees lead but they will have to see out the rest of this game with 10 men.

  15. Cherries have edgepublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Newcastle 0-1 Bournemouth

I wouldn't want to be in Steve McClaren's seat now. He is a man under pressure.

Do his side deserve to be behind? It's been a close one but the visitors have seen more of the ball. Both sides have had dive shots each.

  16. Postpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Man City 0-0 Aston Villa

City are being frustrated by Villa. They are not helping themselves, though. Wilfried Bony finds plenty of space from a corner but makes a mess of his header, which goes harmlessly wide.

  17. 'Nothing anyone could have done'published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Newcastle 0-1 Bournemouth

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"I'm speechless! There was no threat of any danger from Bournemouth there. Newcastle had four players defending in the box.

"Josh King took the shot and a wicked deflection took the ball into the bottom corner. There was nothing anyone could have done about that."

  18. Should McCLaren be sacked?published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Newcastle 0-1 Bournemouth

Is this the end of Steve McClaren's managerial reign at Newcastle if the Magpies lose today?

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Newcastle 0-1 Bournemouth

It gets worse for Newcastle. Paul Dummett comes off for Vurnon Anita. That must be because of injury. The home fans, perhaps thinking it is tactical, boo - such is the growing animosity towards Steve McClaren.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Swansea 0-0 Norwich

A defensive reshuffle is now what Norwich boss Alex Neil needs right now, but an injury to Robbie Brady means he can't continue, so on comes Ryan Bennett. He goes into the centre of defence, with Russell Martin moving to left-back.
