Wilfried Zaha now stretches his legs down the Palace right as the Eagles look to test out Alberto Moreno early doors. Moreno was hammered by Jamie Carragher recently but he makes a good tackle.

Liverpool then attack and Adam Lallana's flick is excellent, but Roberto Firmino's shot is blocked.

Third in October, FIFTH ON NEW YEAR'S DAY - it's been a 2016 to forget so far for Crystal Palace.

Can they start to turn things around this afternoon?

  10. 'Come on boys'published at 13:27 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2016

Crystal Palace v Liverpool (13:30 GMT)

Silence in the tunnel as Mile Jedinak and Jordan Henderson stand alongside one another. No hugs or cuddles here.

"Come on boys," shouts Henderson as he turns his head to look back at the away players. "Let's go, come on," is another shout heard.

They filter out, it's very narrow so it has to almost become single file.

James in London: I don't even feel sorry for Newcastle and their fans. They forced Pardew out at a time when they needed him most, they are at fault for their own downfall. Hope they go down to teach other clubs a lesson.

Jurgen Klopp says that he has rested full-back Nathaniel Clyne this afternoon as he has started every league game this season. When he is told that Clyne has only missed one game in a cup, Klopp jokes: "Yeah, in one of the 500 cup games we have had this season..."

When thanked for his time on camera he says: "No problem, I had nothing better to do..."

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Former Arsenal and Tottenham manager George Graham on 5 live: "Arsene Wenger has left a legacy but Arsenal have stood still. Their aim seems to be the top four rather than let's go and win it.

"He is not going to be sacked. He will leave – as he should do – with a bit of style.

"He is the one who will decide. He is so powerful at the club. He is fantastic. But the club is in a healthy position to go out and acquire the best players but they still don’t seem to be the outstanding team they had in Arsene’s first years."

Damien B: McClaren said at the start of the season to judge him after 10 games. that hasn't been mentioned at all.

Phil Fandango: Seeing why McClaren should coach not manage with NUFC at the moment.

Tufael: It's the Newcastle fans to blame as they should never have wanted Pardew out.

Daniel Johnson: Not a Newcastle fan but such a shame to see a once great club ruined from top to bottom. Sorry to the fans #bbcfootball

  20. Remarkable Hammerspublished at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2016

    MOTD2 Extra

Former Manchester City and West Ham midfielder Trevor Sinclair: "It's been a remarkable season for West Ham this year. The way the players have played without fear. Dimitri Payet's impact has been second to none. For me he's up there with Riyad Mahrez. West Ham as a whole have played with a great spirit and coming from two down at Goodison, they deserved it.

"When you hear the Croatian national players speak so highly of Slaven Bilic before he took the job, you just knew he would have an impact."
