Jonjo Shelvey is the man put in charge with making Newcastle tick, but his passing accuracy of 63% so far isn't up to scratch. There are a few reasons for that but N'Golo Kante is a big one. He doesn't give an opponent a second!

I saw a lot of goalless football this weekend, a lot of so-called possession football, a lot of endless short passing, going nowhere.
