This is amazing - the Republic of Ireland score their second penalty in about two minutes. Martin Skrtel brings Shane Long down but this time James McClean takes it. Keeper guesses right but the kick is too powerful for him.

    Matt Ritchie (8 mins)

Shocker in the Denmark defence as Daniel Agger and Kasper Schmeichel get in a right old mix-up following a through-ball. Whilst they leave it to each other, Matt Ritchie steals in to score a very easy goal.

Ian Funnell: Ok this is getting silly now. Wasn't impressed with the blue socks on Sat but red socks with our White home kit is just wrong.

Thomas Broadley: I thought the kits from the international friendlies in the games last night were bad until I saw the Dutch team in blue.

James Purkis: Thought Saturday's kit was bad, but this one is truly hideous. Mind you, don't care if we keep winning in them.

Shane Long levels for the Republic of Ireland from the penalty spot - but the Irish were lucky to get the spot-kick. Slovakia keeper Matus Kozacik brought Long down but appeared to win the ball. Long stepped up to send the keeper the wrong way.

A lung-bursting run by Jamie Vardy as he drives at the Dutch defence. The Leicester striker does not know the meaning of fatigue. Decent start by England putting the visitors under early pressure.

"These new England kits haven't gone down well and I must admit I wasn't impressed by the one they wore against Germany."

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 29 March 2016

    Republic of Ireland 0-1 Slovakia

Rob Elliot has really hurt himself there and - a bit similar to Jack Butland for England the other night - comes off after conceding in his big chance. Darren Randolph - the likely number one for Euro 2016 - comes on.

England get us under way. It's now or never for some in terms of their Euro 2016 prospects.

  11. Looking good?published at 20:02

    England v Netherlands (20:00 BST)

Interesting to see how England's new Euro 2016 kit goes down with the fans. The white shirt and shorts with blue trim, grey-blue sleeves and shoulders, and red socks is getting its first airing at Wembley.

Let's hope Gary Lineker likes it after the former England captain could not hide his displeasure at the all red with blue socks away combination worn against Germany last Saturday.

Slovakia break at pace and Miroslav Stoch - unmarked 16 yards out - steers the ball past Rob Elliot in the Irish goal.

And Elliot appears to have injured himself in the process of trying to save it. Tonight was his chance to stake his Euro 2016 claim to be number one...

Impeccably observed minute's silence for the victims of the Brussels attacks. We're moments away from kick-off.

National anthem time. Wembley is far from full as we approach kick-off. Traffic problems? There's a decent following from the Netherlands where there's a banner which reads: 'Good luck in France. We won't be there'.

  16. 'I wouldn't take Milner'published at 19:56

    England v Netherlands (20:00 BST)

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Spurs & England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

"James Milner has been a fantastic player for England over the years but he wouldn't be in my 23-man squad for the Euros.

"I think we've got better options in that department with Jordan Henderson and Eric Dier and then it comes down to Fabian Delph or Danny Drinkwater behind them.

"But I think Roy Hodgson will have him in the squad."

Chris Waddle: "Milner is definitely going if he's captain tonight!"

  18. 'Door open for Shaw'published at 19:54

    England v Netherlands (20:00 BST)

    John Murray
BBC Radio 5 live commentator at Wembley

"I know for a fact that if Luke Shaw can come back into the Manchester United team before the end of the season, play a few games and prove his form then he'll be back in contention.

"That's how flexible Roy Hodgson is prepared to be with this squad."

England boss Roy Hodgson on ITV: "We obviously talked about the Germany game, it was a good performance. This is the opportunity against top-class opposition again and the players' chance to show what they can do."

  20. 'Feeling stronger'published at 19:51

    England v Netherlands (20:00 BST)

He might be injured but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has given Roy Hodgson a little nudge by posting a picture of himself on Instagram building up his fitness.

The Arsenal midfielder, out with a knee problem, put this picture up earlier today with the message: "Good days rehab... Feeling stronger everyday."

    Got the message, Roy?
