And it all came from David Cotterill's poor pass. Wales respond by making two changes. Jonathan Williams comes on for George Williams and Lloyd Isgrove replaces Tom Lawrence.

Nice possession from Wales, but Northern Ireland are a well-drilled defence and one of the reasons why they are eight games unbeaten. Good job the crowd are keeping themselves entertained with a few drums. Meanwhile David Cotterill's loose ball leads to a NI corner.

All over in Odessa. So what, I hear you cry? So Ukraine - Wales' next opponents and Northern Ireland's Euro 2016 rivals - have earned a steady if unspectacular 1-0 win against Cyprus. Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Taras Stepanenko bagged the first-half winner.

Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty, fresh from a loan deal to Birmingham today, is doing his best to harry the Wales defence as if he has a point to prove. Gerry Armstrong is right below, though, he does look like he needs more games. He's played 45 minutes for Norwich this season! 

Northern Ireland are a bit slack at the back as David Cotterill blocks a clearance, with the ball falling into the path of Sam Vokes but Gareth McAuley is in quickly to sort it out.

This is the best chance of the game for Northern Ireland. Steven Davis slips the ball through to Jamie Ward, but Adam Matthews makes a great challenge in the box. The ball falls to Kyle Lafferty but the NI striker cannot get any power into his shot. Disappointing. 

It maybe says something that busy Welsh midfielder David Vaughan was one of the best players of the first half and he's in the action again as he tidies up. 

They are also back under way in Prague, where Scotland lead Czech Republic 1-0 through Ikechi Anya's breakaway goal.
