    Iwan Roberts
Former Wales striker on BBC Two Wales

"When we haven't got the likes of Gareth Bale and Hal Robson-Kanu playing, we can't play the ball forward quickly to use their pace. When the opposition back four play high, we turn teams and know those two are always going to win the race. But we have not done that tonight or against Northern Ireland."

Can Conor Washington book his flight to France?

    This is splendid.

He leaves two Slovenian players on the deck with his upper body strength and then turns a third man inside out in the area before stroking past Jan Oblak.

Another change for Wales as skipper Ashley Williams is replaced by Jazz Richards.

Williams kindly wraps the captain's armband around the sleeve of Joe Allen - he has to bend down a wee bit, mind.

This would have stood 40 years ago.

Roy Carroll takes a cross out of the air but before he returns back to earth he's barged into the net by Miral Samardzic.

    The free-kick is given.

Keepers get all the decisions these days.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 28 March 2016

    Ukraine 1-0 Wales

A switch for Wales with Jonny Williams off and Shaun MacDonald on.

It delayed a Wales corner which ends with James Chester heading wide.

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Slovenia

Shane Ferguson is looking Northern Ireland's most potent threat down the left flank.

He's into space but his cross is easy for Jan Oblak to claim.

Starwars McGuinness: In order to bring some lower league class to your cat midfield, I can offer my Eddie (Bishop) and Frankie (Worthington)

Arsenal related: My fish is named Tony after the great man himself, Tony Adams! He was black but turned orange (nothing to do with Tony Adams!)

We've got a half-decent squad building here. Anyone named an animal after a keeper?

    Ukraine 1-0 Wales

Ukraine come close to going two up as Denys Garmash gently nods wide. Wayne Hennessey did not look completely happy with where that was going.

  10. Postpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 28 March 2016

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Slovenia

Conor Washington is a box of tricks.

He stands up the defender down the left channel and ghosts one way but ends up going in the other to skip past his man. It puts him into the left side of the area but Jan Oblak saves with his feet.

And now Josip Ilicic wriggles into space on the edge of the area. He gets away a looping shot that is straight into Roy Carroll's hands.

Smart move from Wales with Joe Allen at its heart. The ball is worked out to Chris Gunter and his cross falls to Emyr Huws on the edge of the area - the shot is less than good and very high.

Ukraine's Ruslan Rotan clips in a free-kick from the left touchline, but Wales clear and counter through Tom Lawrence.

Chris Gunter tries to work in a ball but it finds Ukrainian feet.

And Ukraine add to their repertoire of fouls as Artem Fedetskyi catches Neil Taylor and goes into the book.

Kath in Essex: My cat is named Ole after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and I met up with an old friend who I hadn't seen in years only to find she also had a cat named Ole after Solskjaer and another named Rio after Ferdinand.

We're closing in on a team of cats here. We've got Ole Solskjaer and Alan Smith up front, Rio Ferdinand at the back, Eric Cantona Cat in the hole. Bit light in midfield though. But then cats aren't known for their work rate.

    Ouchie.

Oliver Norwood mis-times a tackle and ends up poking Valter Birsa in the calf with his toe.

It's like an ancient nerve hold and Birsa crumples to the floor. He's fine, though.

Down the Slovenia end Jamie Ward does well to keep the ball in on the right touchline, but his cross can't find Conor Washington.

    John Hartson
Former Arsenal and Wales striker on BBC Two Wales

"We have waited 58 years to get to a major finals so we can wait another 75 days until Euro 2016 starts!

"Many a great player who represented Wales over the years - some great players - did not have the opportunity to play in one. This group has done it. I'm very I'm excited like every other Welsh person."
