Memphis Depay slips the ball into Anthony Martial inside the penalty area, he turns smartly but his shot it blocked by Junior Brown.

The ball loops into the air, goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler punches half clear and Jermaine Grandison scrambles clear.

Shrewsbury may not be playing very well as an attacking unit but defensively they are doing okay.

The longer this goes goalless, the more they will dream of a replay at Old Trafford.

Eighteen - that's eighteen - of the 22 players have spent the majority of their time in the Shrewsbury defensive/Manchester United attacking half. 

Not much sign of an upset at this stage.

Surely the opener is on it's way.

Anthony Martial gets the ball inside the penalty area, strokes the ball towards goal, but goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler sticks his foot out and partially saves it.

The ball still looks like looping into the net but Abu Ogogo scrambles back and heads the ball off the line.

Shrewsbury are - somehow - still level.

For all that Shrewsbury have been poor, they are almost 30 minutes into a fifth round tie against Manchester United and still level.

This had all the promise of a blood-and-thunder cup-tie. Promises are sometimes broken.

They played 'Eye of the Tiger' pre-match but Shrewsbury resemble more of a pussy cat so far.

Where are the crunching tackles? The hurrying and harrying? Manchester United can't believe how comfortable things are.
