    As you well know, this tournament is a round robin between four of the world's leading five nations. In the earlier game, USA beat France 1-0 thanks to Alex Morgan's crisp strike from 15 yards.

    That means England must hold on to this lead to stand any chance of still winning the tournament.

    So far, so good. England lead at the break thanks to Toni Duggan's brilliant flicked header. The Lionesses were be very happy with their performance as they dissect the first 45 minutes over a half-time orange.

    European champions Germany have created a few decent chances since the opener, but have been *relatively* comfortable.
