Two minutes of added time and Chelsea are on for a sixth as they break after a Manchester City corner...but Oscar shoots over. They'll have to settle for just the five goals then.

GOAL - Chelsea 5-1 Man Citypublished at 89 mins

The substitutions combine to complete a five-star performance by Chelsea. Oscar whips in a cross and Bertrand Traore loops a header over Willy Caballero with the back of his head.

Did he mean that? I'm not so sure.

Two minutes to go and Thibaut Courtois makes what I believe is his first save of the half, stretching low to palm behind Aleksandar Kolarov's drive from outside the box.

Not much happening now as the final few minutes tick away. Chelsea passing the ball about comfortably without showing any urgency. The most exciting thing I've noticed is that Guus Hiddink has switched from a blue coat to a white one.

Yousuf Ali: Would Pellegrini have sacrificed this game if he wasn't leaving at the end of the season?

Simon Goodall: Please to see the youngsters putting in a good shift for City. Pity the older players seem to be on nights, and still asleep.

A standing ovation for John Mikel Obi as he is replaced by Nemanja Matic for the final few minutes. Great game from the midfielder.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 81 mins

    Chelsea 4-1 Man City

This game feels like it is just winding down to its conclusion, but you just sense Chelsea have another goal in them. That almost comes when Cesc Fabregas cuts the ball back for Bertrand Traore who, under pressure, pokes a shot on to the post.

  12. 'Men against boys'published at 17:37 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2016

    Chelsea 4-1 Man City

    Danny Murphy
Ex-Liverpool midfielder on Match of the Day

"You have to give Chelsea credit in the second half, it has been men against boys. They have been stronger, fitter, sharper and more creative with their passing.

"This should be happening, it is no criticism of Manchester City. You can't expect the youngsters to play with just two or three senior players around them.

"It is not the fact you are playing with youngsters, it is about playing against such quality. They have too much pride and passion to be undone by kids."

Ross Watson: Softest penalty I've ever seen; justice done with the save. Same old Chelsea...

Josh Wilde: I don't know what to make of Caballero - he's made two fantastic saves yet he was at fault for two of Chelsea's goals.

Simon Atkins: Score doesn't reflect the game for me. The youngsters have done very well, and they were let down by the rest.

Chris Bryan: the kids have been decent. It's been Demichelis and more importantly caballero who let the side down today.

John: Well done to the City fans for following their reserve team to London. Shame the club doesn't take it as seriously as they do.

Ray Devlin: Man City have spent way too much money to see the FA Cup as a distraction. If I was a City fan I'd be furious.

  17. MISSED PENALTY - OSCARpublished at 17:33 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2016

Saved! Oscar is a bit too nonchalant and his penalty is at a good height for Willy Caballero. As you were.

Charles Rigby: Who is this Hazard chap? Where has he been all season?

Jethro Colmer: Hazard scores!! I'm calling it. It's the apocalypse

John Stockbridge: City can't have any complaints. Team selection reflected their indifference to a competition still valued by many fans.

Niall McDermott: Can't help but think this game could have gone so differently if Hart had played instead of Caballero. Kids have been great.
