  • Immers and O'Keefe give Cardiff victory

  1. FULL-TIMEpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Bristol City 0-2 Cardiff City

Cardiff City move up to seventh in the Championship with a victory in the Severnside derby.

The visitors took the lead in the first half through Lex Immers before Stuart O'Keefe headed home late on to wrap up the three points.

Lee Johnson's side had chances but Bluebirds keeper David Marshall was never unduly troubled.

One defeat in nine now for Russell Slade's play-off chasers.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 59 mins

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

First substitution of the day for Burnley as David Jones comes off for Fredrik Ulvestad. Apparently Jones may have an Achilles problem.

  3. Burnley 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 58 mins

The answer is, quite emphatically, no. The delivery into the box is a poor one and Burnley clear with ease.

It goes without saying, but Blackburn seriously need to exert some more pressure if they want to get back into this and get some men around lone forward Danny Graham.

  4. Bristol City 0-2 Cardiff Citypublished at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

Cardiff are just running down the clock now.

Bristol City sub Kieran Agard goes down in the penalty area in search of a spot-kick but just receives a booking for diving. It's not been their day today.

  5. Burnley 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 57 mins

The game just appears to be going through a little lull, but Blackburn right-back Ben Marshall wins a corner. Will they finally make one count?

  6. Burnley 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 52 mins

A few concerned looks on the Burnley bench as defender Michael Keane, only just back from concussion, takes an accidental blow to the face from Shane Duffy.

He looks OK to continue, though.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 51 mins

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Darragh Lenihan becomes the second Blackburn player to go into the book for a high tackle on Joey Barton, following Jordi Gomez's booking for the same deed in the first half.

  8. goal

GOAL Bristol City 0-2 Cardiff City (O'Keefe)published at 13:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

I was just saying they'd had one shot in the second half and now they've seemingly gone and wrapped up victory in this Severnside derby.

Tom Lawrence's initial shot comes back off the crossbar but Stuart O'Keefe is on hand to head home the rebound for his first Bluebirds goal.

  9. Burnley 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 49 mins

Shane Duffy is usually so dangerous from set-pieces, but the Blackburn centre-half cannot get enough on Matt Grimes' pinpoint free-kick.

    That ball screamed 'head me'!

  10. Bristol City 0-1 Cardiff Citypublished at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

Bluebirds sub Craig Noone forces his way through but drags his shot wide. I think that might be their first shot this half.

Meanwhile, the hosts make their final change of the day as top scorer Jonathan Kodjia makes way for Kieran Agard.

  11. Burnley 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 48 mins

It's been a particularly scrappy opening to the second half, but Blackburn forward Danny Graham gets a bit of space down the right, cuts inside, but sees a strike blocked by a defender.

  12. Bristol City 0-1 Cardiff Citypublished at 13:35 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

Still the hosts press and still Cardiff City keep them at bay.

Sub Aaron Wilbraham sees a shot blocked as we head towards the final 15 minutes.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:34 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Back under way at Turf Moor in the east Lancashire derby.

  14. Elsewhere on Saturdaypublished at 13:30 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

After these matches, we have a jam-packed schedule of Football League action.

Derby and Brighton will be hoping to keep up the pressure on the Championship's top three against Huddersfield and Preston respectively.

Meanwhile in League One, leaders Burton travel to struggling Crewe and Wigan host an out-of-form Peterborough side.

In League Two, Northampton will be looking to hold onto their 11-point lead at Carlisle, while second-placed Oxford face third-placed Plymouth in a crunch clash at Home Park.

  15. Bristol City 0-1 Cardiff Citypublished at 13:28 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

The visitors make their second change as Craig Noone comes on for the experienced Peter Whittingham.

They've offered little going forward this half but, as it stands, they're taking the three points back to Wales.

  16. Bristol City 0-1 Cardiff Citypublished at 13:25 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

The hosts have made a couple of changes. Luke Ayling and Aaron Wilbraham have come on for Mark Little and Bobby Reid.

Lee Johnson's side are well on top but so far David Marshall in the Cardiff goal has been up to everything they've thrown at him.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Mike Jones blows for half-time and the home crowd rises to their feet. They should be pleased with their side's performance so far, as Andre Gray's penalty has proved the difference.

  18. Burnley 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 44 mins

Burnley have a rare foray into the Blackburn half as Andre Gray forces Grant Hanley to turn the ball behind for a corner, but it is easily caught by Jason Steele.

  19. Bristol City 0-1 Cardiff Citypublished at 13:14 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

Bristol City have made a strong start to this half and Lee Tomlin's deflected shot is well saved by David Marshall.

Just over 30 minutes for the hosts to find a leveller here.

Only once in the previous six meetings between these two sides has a team managed to score more than one goal.

    Will that change today?

Blackburn think they should have a penalty when Hope Akpan goes down in the box under pressure from Stephen Ward, but referee Mike Jones waves play on.
