    Klose! Closer to safety?

Timm Klose heads Norwich ahead from Robbie Brady's teasing free-kick, but it's rubbish defending. Three Newcastle shirts let him go and he nodded in a brilliant delivery.

Newcastle in a world of pain.n

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"You've got to see this! You've got to! His shot flew past Hennessey in the blink of an eye and into the back of a net through the space of a postage stamp. An unbelievable goal!"

  7. Postpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

After that little period, when Sunderland had two chances, the game at Stadium of Light has descended back into a dire trudge.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Arsenal 2-0 Watford

Watford are making a change already. Etienne Capoue comes off (and gets booed - a result of his Spurs connections) to be replaced by Ikechi Anya.

  9. goal

GOAL - West Ham 2-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Dimitri Payet (41 mins)

Oh yessss! Another superb, superb free-kick from the Dimitri Payet collection!

He's only 22 yards from goal, he gets it well over the wall and to be honest it looks like he's duffed it over the top, but somehow he conjures a huge amount of dip to get the ball down and in via the underside of the crossbar.

    Maestro.

    Ian Wright, ArsenalImage source, PA

"Iwobi is precocious. He's got a swagger about him which reminds me of Ian Wright as a young kid. You need to be bold as a young player, and Iwobi certainly is."

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:39 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

Dimitri Payet's dead-ball delivery is something else isn't it? It's a corner this time which foxes the Palace defence, as he drops one on to the head of Diafra Sakho from a mile in the sky. Sakho heads it narrowly wide.

  12. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 2-0 Watfordpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Alex Iwobi (38 mins)

What a start Alex Iwobi has made to life in the Premier League. He times his run superbly into the box to meet Alexis Sanchez's pull-back, side-foot home and strengthen Arsenal's grip on this game. The scoreline now better reflects the home side's dominance so far.

    Bournemouth 0-3 Man City

It is a long way back for Bournemouth but they are battling. The ball is swung in from the left and met by the head of Lewis Grabban but he can't keep his effort down and it flies a few yards over the bar.

  14. Postpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

And now a good chance for Palace, but Pape Souare's cross finds Jason Puncheon at a tricky height, he's not sure whether to head it or volley it and in the end he can only thigh the ball over.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:33 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Norwich 0-0 Newcastle

    Karl Darlow, NewcastleImage source, Reuters

And now Norwich really should be ahead! Steven Naismith is just not being picked up at all and he cuts back a lovely ball for strike partner Dieumerci Mbokani - he should bury this but Karl Darlow saves with his foot. Great chance!

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:33 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

Another chance for Sunderland, who have suddenly burst into life. Wahbi Khazri's pass from an angle finds Lee Cattermole, who has charged into the box down the right, but his chip is somehow pushed behind by the out-stretched hand of Ben Foster.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:31 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Norwich 0-0 Newcastle

Norwich craft another good opening as they pick apart the Newcastle defence and tee up Robbie Brady on the right of the box. It's on his wrong foot though and Karl Darlow is able to make a comfortable enough stop. On his left - it may have been a different matter...

  18. Postpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

Big chance for Sunderland. Wahbi Khazri's cross from the right finds Jermain Defoe in space just six yards out but he cannot connect with his header. Best opportunity of the game by far.

  19. Football League updatepublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

A real dearth of goals in the Championship, but promotion-chasing Hull are 1-0 up against Bristol City after Curtis Davies hooked home a corner. Bolton's Rob Holding has been sent off for bringing down Matej Vydra in the box, but Ben Amos saved Reading's penalty.

Fleetwood lead away at Swindon in League One thanks to a Wes Burns header, while Peterborough are a goal to the good against lowly Crewe with Harry Beautyman's second in as many games.

Morecambe are already 2-0 up at home to Barnet in League 2, while York are ahead by a goal against Leyton Orient thanks to Bradley Fewster's seventh of the season.

  20. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Stoke 1-0 Swansea

With Jack Butland starting his long spell on the sidelines this afternoon the Potters have Jakob Haugaard in nets and he has just made an excellent claim to take a high ball. He's not had a save to make yet.
