  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Bournemouth 0-3 Man City

No let up from City, despite their very comfortable lead. Fernandinho unleashes a shot from distance that beats Artur Boruc but strikes the crossbar. Eddie Howe needs to do something here. His side are already in heavy defeat territory, but they could easily veer into absolute stuffing.

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

A Dimitri Payet free-kick 25 yards out? Practically a gimme these days. But Payet can only loft this one onto the roof of the net.

    Stoke 1-0 Swansea

Marko Arnautovic has been Stoke's standout man so far but he is down needing treatment at the moment. However, a touch of the magic sponge seems to have done the job as the giant Austrian is soon up and running again.

    Bournemouth 0-3 Man City

You can see where City are making their inroads - down the inside right channel. Jesus Navas has often been joined by David Silva in that area, to devastating effect.

That big splodge showing City's touches outside the Cherries area is the same place Charlie Daniels gave the ball away for the second goal too.

Heurelho Gomes is called into action again, this time to dive low to palm away Alexis Sanchez's goalbound free-kick. The Gunners are firmly on top.

City may well have this game wrapped up within 20 minutes. Jesus Navas digs out a cross from the right byline and Sergio Aguero shows superb hang-time to get above the static Adam Smith and head home. The Bournemouth players stare at each other in disbelief.

    Manuel Lanzini (18 mins)

Crystal Palace are so fragile at the moment and their lead lasts just three minutes. Michail Antonio spins a cross up at the far post, Diafra Sakho heads down and Manuel Lanzini slams a first-time finish between Scott Dann and the near post. Deadly.

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

Quiet so far between Sunderland and West Brom. It is pretty even and very light on chances.

Oooh almost a big moment as Norwich have the ball in the net - but Dieumerci Mbokani is just offside as he tucks home Jonny Howson's cross.

    Dion Dublin
Former Leicester and Aston Villa forward on Final Score

"As soon as Aguero picks the ball up Silva is off, and in on goal. But instead of shooting he lays it off to De Bruyne. He doesn't hit it, he guides it. Great goal, and City are rampant."

    Arsenal 1-0 Watford

Danny Welbeck is close to a second for Arsenal. Mesut Ozil's low cross from the right is met by the forward but his first-time effort deflects a few inches past the post.

Looks like Man City aren't the only team with something to prove today.

    Damien Delaney (15 mins)

    Adriaaannnn! You did it!!!

Shocker from the West Ham goalkeeper as he needlessly palms out a free-kick which was going dead, and Damien Delaney is there to loop a header into the net.

    Ibrahim Afellay (13 mins)

Stoke are up and running and they lead after fine play from the Zlatan of the Potteries, Marko Arnautovic. Strong as an ox, he holds off Angel Rangel before teasing a lovely cross to the far post where Ibrahim Afellay nods almost apologetically into the net. he could not miss.

    West Ham 0-0 Crystal Palace

After a slow and shoddy start the Hammers are kicking into gear now. A wonderful cross from the right flies across the Palace goalmouth but there is nobody there to apply a telling touch.

This is how you make your return from injury. 11 minutes into his comeback, Kevin de Bruyne finishes a superb move from City, tucking home from just inside the box following a neat pass from Sergio Aguero and David Silva's superb lay-off on the turn.

City clearly feel they have a point to make here.

Ben Foster is drawn into the first serious save of the afternoon at the Stadium of Ligth as Jermain Defoe's flick at the near post calls him into a diving stop.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:09 British Summer Time 2 April 2016

    Norwich 0-0 Newcastle

That is closer for the men in white though! Jonjo Shelvey feeds in a testing ball from deep, bags of pace on it and it needs helping on its way. Papiss Cisse flicks on a lovely little header which loops over the head of John Ruddy but also onto the roof of the net.

City are up and running. Jesus Navas' corner bounces and is not cleared by the swinging boot of a Bournemouth defender before falling to Fernando, who makes no mistake with a first-time finish inside the box. That is his first goal of the season. Timely strike from the midfielder.

    Norwich 0-0 Newcastle

The Magpies are seeing plenty of the early play at Carrow Road in this crunch game at the foot of the table. Jonjo Shelvey - skipper - is patrolling the middle third and spraying play about. No chances yet though.
