  1. League One updatepublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 30 April 2016

Millwall and Bradford are both doing enough to secure their play-off places in League One at the moment.

Byron Webster has headed the Lions ahead in their home game versus Oldham, while Bradford lead at Southend after a goal from Lee Evans.

Coventry will not be going up this year, but they are at least giving their fans something to cheer about today as they are 2-0 up versus Sheffield United, Marc-Antoine Fortune and Andy Rose with the goals.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 30 April 2016

    Watford 0-0 Aston Villa

Watford 2-0 Aston Villa - in the hitting-the-woodwork scoreline. And it is a thing of beauty from Ben Watson. The ginger-haired Hornets midfielder neatly tees himself up about 30 yards out, then almost breaks the crossbar with a vicious swerving volley. Villa survive. Just.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:27 British Summer Time 30 April 2016

    Stoke 0-0 Sunderland

Vito Mannone was the most confident man in the Potteries as he left a header from Peter Crouch to drift just past the far corner. He may not be in fashion but Crouch's style of centre-forward play remains effective.

    Stoke 0-0 Sunderland

There's no doubting who has enjoyed the greater possession and territory at the Britannia Stadium in these opening minutes because the graphic below says it all.

But Bayern Munich monopolised the ball against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in midweek and it was the defensively sound Spaniards - much admired by Big Sam - who came away with the 1-0 first-leg advantage.

    Everton 1-1 Bournemouth

You can hear a pin drop inside Goodison now. The home side are rattled, Bournemouth on the front foot. Mo Besic casually passes back to keeper Tim Howard, as a Bournemouth attacker suddenly appears in his line of vision. The American calmly passes out to Tom Cleverly though, and the Toffees get away with it. A collective groan/sigh of relief from the Gwladys Street End.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:24 British Summer Time 30 April 2016

    West Brom 0-0 West Ham

In the spirit of making outlandish, stupid statements, West Brom youngster Jonathan Leko looks like he has the makings of a career! That's the third time already the teenager has beaten Aaron Cresswell and got a dangerous cross in, and for the third time Craig Gardner puts his effort off target.

    Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace

Just the one shot on target so far, both sides with 50% of possession. It's not a great game - which given these sides' form is perhaps no surprise.

    West Brom 0-0 West Ham

Speaking of giant England forwards, West Ham's Andy Carroll meets a cross from Manuel Lanzini but can't get over the ball and heads it miles over the crossbar.

    Everton 1-1 Bournemouth

Intricate stuff from Everton for the opening goal at Goodison. Following a Leighton Baines (No3) throw in, Ross Barkley (No 20), Darron Gibson (No 4), and James McCarthy (No 16) are all involved before Cleverley finds the far corner.

Their lead didn't last long, but that's another story...

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:18 British Summer Time 30 April 2016

    Stoke 0-0 Sunderland

It's a rare start for Peter Crouch in the Stoke line-up today and the big man nods a cross down, it could drift in and it could fall for a team-mate, but Vito Mannone ensures that neither happen with a good save.

  12. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 30 April 2016

    Watford 0-0 Aston Villa

What's going on at Vicarage Road? Watford can't buy a win at the moment. Luckily, Villa are the team in town today. The Hornets almost sting the visitors early on, Troy Deeney heading Jurado's right-wing cross against the post.

Villa fans, all 2,000 of them, are in fine voice in spite of their troubles. We salute every one of you.

    Make mine a pint

It is a great day to be an Oxford United fan. As a thank you to the fans who have made the 550-mile round-trip to Carlisle, U's chairman Darryl Eales has paid for 1,000 fans to get a hotdog and a pint as the club push for promotion.

The players are doing the business on the pitch as well with Chris Maguire's fourth-minute penalty, after he was fouled, putting them 1-0 ahead.

A win for Oxford, along with Bristol Rovers and Plymouth dropping points, will see them winning promotion to League One.

Northampton have already secured the League Two title, and they're winning again thanks to Zander Diamond's early goal against Luton.

    Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace

Will Andros Townsend stay at Newcastle if they go down? He would rip the division up. He ghosts into space to cut in from the left, real threat, but his shot is well smothered.

Sunderland have started pretty well as Patrick van Aanholt hits in an early dipping strike which is almost met on the stretch by Jermain Defoe. Earlier Stoke playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri was not happy with a challenge from Lee Cattermole. A bit late.

Brilliant challenge! Connor Wickham looked to be in momentarily for Crystal Palace but Newcastle defender Jamaal Lascelles reacts superbly to stretch out a long leg and make a sliding tackle to clear it away. No room for error. No error.

The Albion have made a really strong start as Craig Gardner has another early effort, curling in a strike from the corner of the area which needs Adrian to make a flying save!

GOAL - Everton 1-1 Bournemouthpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 30 April 2016

    Marc Pugh (9 mins)

Disaster for Everton. The most dangerous time to concede...is straight after you've scored. And young Toffees defender Matt Pennington learns a harsh lesson about Premier League football.

Pennington is levered off the ball by Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, stops to complain, allowing Wilson to put the ball in the box from the right. Eventually it drops to Marc Pugh - who has the entire six-yard box to himself - and he drills in the equaliser.

Everton rage, the officials stick to their decision, Bournemouth celebrate.

"The full-backs will be key for Newcastle today, Paul Dummett and Vurnon Anita will have to stop crosses coming into the box. Connor Wickham thrives on those crosses."
