Stoke 0-0 Sunderland

Sunderland win a corner in a fierce wind and it's tricky to deal with, it falls for Lamine Kone but he's falling backwards and can't control his strike at all. Slashed well wide.

Magpies out of bottom three as it stands

Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace
Lovely cross! Paul Dummett sends in a tester from the left, loads of shape on it but Moussa Sissoko tries to volley a ball at a tricky height, sort of between hip and shoulder, and the ball goes past.
Surely a stooping header there?

Steve Stone
Former Newcastle coach and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live
"This is Newcastle's best passage of play. Chancel Mbemba hits it from 35-40 yards, the keeper sees it all the way and saves it, it's better from Newcastle.
"Crystal Palace are just trying to hit Yannick Bolasie whenever they can."
Everton 1-1 Bournemouth
If anything is going to get the Goodison faithful on their feet, it is a moment of magic from local lad Ross Barkley. Two chances in as many minutes for the England midfielder. Both go begging. First, a jinking run from deep ends in a sky-high shot, then his toe-poked effort under Artur Boruc is stopped by the Cherries keeper.
Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace
Not from there! No! Don't do it!
Great effort!
Chancel Mbemba lines up a shot from about 40 yards, the Newcastle centre-back gets all of his weight behind it and lashes in a low, curling effort which forces Wayne Hennessey into a diving save!
That's got the fans going.
Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace
Entertaining stuff at St James' Park. Crystal Palace enjoying plenty of possession and plenty of joy down the left flank, as the graphic above illustrating both teams' play in the attacking third proves.
But in Andros Townsend the Palace's defence on the right side has plenty of food for thought.
Stoke 0-0 Sunderland
Stoke find a way through too easily, Marko Arnautovic blazes wildly over, Big Sam slinks deeper into his seat. Steaming. Fuming.
Watford 0-1 Aston Villa
Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score
"The away fans at Aston Villa are sensational.
"Clark is one of the players to build around next season. He gets his head on it, first class.
"There is one for the future."
Watford 0-1 Aston Villa
Can Watford respond quickly (like Bournemouth at Goodison)? Nope. The Hornets are lacking any bite.
It has been a season to forget for Fulham, and it is another day for their fans to hang their heads in shame as Sam Saunders and Scott Hogan have scored as Brentford lead 2-0.
Rotherham, unbeaten in 11 games, are behind to a Shane Duffy goal for Blackburn, while Ipswich, without a win in seven, lead 1-0 against MK Dons after David McGoldrick's strike.
Everton 1-1 Bournemouth
Not much belief among the home players at Goodison. A few murmurs of discontent from the Toffees fans as Roberto Martinez's side go backwards. Uninspiring. At least they've not lost possession, eh Roberto?
Cheikhou Kouyate (34 mins)
Now there is someone to convert! West Ham lead after typically classy play on the right from Dimitri Payet. West Brom can't clear a set-piece, it comes back out to Payet in space and he waits, waits, waits, and then picks out Cheikhou Kouyate at the back stick. Little cushioned header across goal. Goal.
West Brom 0-0 West Ham
Very decent, open and attacking game at The Hawthorns. West Ham look so dangerous down either wing as first Aaron Cresswell and then Michail Antonio fizz crosses into the goalmouth. Nobody there to convert though.
Watford 0-1 Aston Villa
The ever-suave Quique Sanchez Flores, decked out in a Milk Tray Man-style black roll neck, looks a little flustered as he barks out instructions from the touchline. The last thing a man whose job is on the line needs is a home defeat by Aston Villa. ASTON VILLA!
Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace
The Newcastle fans are also not happy, insistent that Crystal Palace are already wasting time. Has Pards come for a point today?
Goalkeeper Karl Darlow comes for a throw and flaps at it. It's very, very tense...
Stoke 0-0 Sunderland
Like a dad in a traffic jam on Bank Holiday Monday, Big Sam is fuming on the sidelines. All manner of wild gesticulations and arm movements. I've no idea what he's so unhappy about or what his instructions are intended to signal. But he's not happy...
Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace
Neat move down the Palace right, zipped into the feet of Yohan Cabaye and he shoots early from a tight angle and Karl Darlow has to make a big one-handed save to push it away.
Ciaran Clark
Can you believe it! The Villa fans can't. Their ironic chorus turns to "We've scored a goal, we've scored a gooooooaaaaal...." after Ciaran Clark plants in Ashley Westwood's left-wing corner with his forehead.
Watford 0-0 Aston Villa
"We've had a shot, we've had a shot...." sing the mocking Villa fans as their team spank a wayward effort over the Watford goal. Well they've had little to cheer this season...

Former Newcastle coach and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live
"It's not a great game. Palace are trying to make it like that, they are trying to slow the game down. They are not letting Newcastle get a head of steam up. They are controlling the game and if they continue like this, then they will win."
