    Arsenal 1-0 Norwich

Time to hold on to what Arsenal have got. Alexis Sanchez is hooked, with Francis Coquelin coming on to steady things up.

Sanchez is not too impressed and heads straight down the tunnel. Once again, the decision is met with a smattering of boos from some home fans, who would probably be booing no matter what Arsene Wenger did today.

Ollie Hall: Norwich are doomed. They don't have a game-changer in their squad and if they lose then that's a lot of belief drained.

George Spooner: Norwich are just dreadful. Deserve to go down!

    Arsenal 1-0 Norwich

We've got some moaners in at the Emirates today. Their side are winning and are heading back up to third in the Premier League, but again the 'Time for Change' banners are held aloft by some fans. But the majority are keeping quiet.

The reason for the protest, well it is 12 minutes to go and it is 12 years since Arsenal last won the Premier League.

I wonder if there will be another protest with one minute to go as it is one season since they last won a trophy.

Attack, attack, attack. From one man up top at the start, another attacking player comes on for Norwich with Steven Naismith to play just behind Cameron Jerome and Dieumerci Mbokani. Robbie Brady is the man to make way.

Faddi S: Arsenal should not be trying to pass it into the net.

NicLewis: We should definitely play 2 up front more often. Welbz and Giroud is not a bad combo. But that's too "decadent" for Wenger

Daniel Woods: Olivier Giroud has played 176 games and scored 78 goals for Arsenal, yet the fans want rid of him? Need to build, not destroy.

  7. CLOSE!published at 73 mins

    Arsenal 1-0 Norwich

A spectacular half-volley from 30 yards out from Mesut Ozil tests John Ruddy, who flings himself to his left to tip the ball over.

But it is a tough life being a goalkeeper as he doesn't get the credit he deserves as referee Mike Jones does not think Ruddy touched it and awards a goal-kick.

On the plus side for Ruddy, at least he does not have to deal with an Arsenal corner.

    Arsenal 1-0 Norwich

We've got a real game on now. Mesut Ozil provides a magic pass to find Alexis Sanchez, but, with the overlapping Hector Bellerin a better option, the Chilean goes for goal and can only send the ball into John Ruddy's hands. A wasted chance.

Danny Welbeck made an instant impact and Dieumerci Mbokani also does so for the Canaries. Nathan Redmond's low pass slides across the box and is heading for Mbokani, but only an excellent sliding block from substitute Gabriel at the near post stops the striker from getting his shot away.

Wes Hoolahan is off and Norwich go for another attacking option as Dieumerci Mbokani comes on. Norwich feel they can still get something from this as Mbokani jogs on to join Cameron Jerome up top.

The Canaries go with two men upfront, much to the relief of Jerome. Will the greater attacking intent pay off or are Norwich going to get picked off? Norwich do not have any other option than to go for it.

    Arsenal 1-0 Norwich

Amazing what a goal can do. It is as if the Arsenal players have just had a weight lifted off their shoulders. The crowd are behind them now, the players have confidence to take on their man. Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are demanding the ball.

How quickly things change in football. But, as we have seen before, this is a fragile atmosphere at the Emirates and won't take much for it to turn again.

Robin Smit: Had a feeling that would happen to Norwich...They just didn't take the chances they had in the 1st half..

Chris Lord: That is the definition of an impact sub. Danny Welbeck.

    Danny Welbeck (Arsenal)

Danny Welbeck has only been on for a few minutes and he has made an instant impact.

Olivier Giroud has not been very popular today but the big striker does well to cushion a header down into Welbeck's path and the England striker catches it on the half-volley to send a low shot past John Ruddy. Advantage Arsenal.

    Screaming for Welbeck?

Well, Arsene Wenger agrees as the England forward comes on. The fans are pleased to see Welbeck introduced. They are not pleased with the decision to replace Alex Iwobi, while Olivier Giroud stays on.

More boos. Every decision by Wenger is not popular with everyone at the moment.

Andy Evans:, external Giroud typifies Arsenal as a team; looks good but lacking any finishing or boldness.

Trouble for the Gunners. Per Mertesacker has been limping around for the last few minutes after getting his foot caught in the turf when under pressure from a Norwich player. The big German defender limps off holding his hamstring and his day is done.

Laurent Koscielny gets the captain's armband and Gabriel comes on into the middle of the Gunners back four.
