There was not much love from you towards Olivier Giroud after his first-half performance. But there are no half-time changes from Arsene Wenger. Giroud has another chance to end his goalless run, which is into its 15th Premier League game.

And we are back under way.

VIVEK K SINGH: I saw him running and jumping around but did Giroud even touch the ball once?

Bryan Van Namen: With quality on the bench, why wouldn't arsenal change tactics and try 4-4-2?

Eamonn McGurk: I genuinely think Arsenal would be better with Defoe upfront than the current strikers we have!

So, if this stays goalless this is what will happen to the top of the table.

Will Arsene Wenger have torn into his players at half-time. To be honest, he would have had every reason to do so.

So are you a glass half-full person or a glass-half empty person? The former will be delighted at Arsenal keeping possession of the ball for 69% of the first half, the latter will not be too impressed with 45 minutes of not having a shot on target. At home. Against a side one off the bottom.

Arsene Wenger's 750th game at Arsenal is not one of the greatest, it's fair to say. But don't worry, it will get better. Honest.

"Norwich have had the chances in the first half. There are a few boos around the stadium as Arsene Wenger heads to the dressing room."

Simon Jedryka: I'll be honest...Norwich far better than Arsenal so far.

Tim Tyler: Petr Cech the busiest Arsenal player on the pitch against second bottom Norwich. Shameful.

Sachin Sadier: Arsenal are making Norwich look like Bayern Munich. I think this is the worst I've seen them play.

  8. CLOSE!published at 18:18 British Summer Time 30 April 2016

    Arsenal 0-0 Norwich

Another chance, again it has fallen to Nathan Redmond, who has been the standout player in the first half. This time he pulls a shot just wide of the post, with Petr Cech scrambling across his goal, panicking.

Arsenal have been all possession and done nothing with it and Norwich will feel they should have gone in front.

  9. CHANCE!published at 45 mins

Should have done better. Where is the Arsenal defence? Gary O'Neil links up well with Nathan Redmond and has a chance to shoot at goal from the edge of the penalty area.

O'Neil is unmarked, but gets it all wrong. The ball flies somewhere near the corner flag and O'Neil sets himself an appointment with shooting practice at training on Monday.

The two best chances of the half have fallen to Norwich's Nathan Redmond. and twice he has been denied by athletic saves from Petr Cech.

The ball again finds its way to Redmond, 15 yards out, he takes a touch on the chest and then volleys at goal. It is going in, but Cech does well to not just get his hands to the ball, but push it out of danger.

It has been attack v defence for most of the half, in which the defence has been a clear winner.

Eight Arsenal players have spent more time in their opponents' half than their own, while Cameron Jerome has been a lone force for the Canaries.

But one thing Arsenal do have is great options on the bench. Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck and Santi Cazorla are all itching and waiting to get involved.

A half-chance for Arsenal as Mesut Ozil's corner finds Laurent Koscielny, but he can only head well off target. That's one for the highlights reel, which is not very long at the moment.

Let's credit Norwich here. They've defended well and in great numbers. They look organised and have done a great job in not only frustrating the hosts, but silencing the home fans.

Protest has been replaced by indifference. I'm not sure that's a good thing though.

Adam Sharif: Huge Wenger fan, I've loved him at the club. But change is definitely needed. This Wenger Out nonsense is out of order though.

Jimmy Ward: Arsenal sticking with Wenger is like someone staying in a stale relationship that's lost all its excitement, but can't move on.

Daniel Shack: Arsenal certainly winning the whiniest and spoilt fans of all time league.

Well, almost a shot at goal. Arsenal's Mohamed Elneny shows some urgency as he cuts in from the left wing and has the space to fire goalwards. But there are too many bodies in the way and it goes for a corner, which Arsenal waste.

Bad news for Norwich as Daniel Ivo Pinto needs treatment after a strong, but fair, challenge from Gunners centre-half Laurent Koscielny. The Canaries man is hobbling about a bit, but eventually decides he can carry on and we continue.

A glimmer of hope for Arsenal but John Ruddy is quick off his line to end that hope. With Newcastle winning and Sunderland drawing, Norwich may well be thinking they need more than just a draw from this one.

The game could open up if the Canaries push men forward looking for the win.
