Cathal, I wouldn't go to Southampton any time soon if I were you. Comments like that one won't make you popular there.

Still not much happening on the pitch by the way. Lots of sideways passing, lots of possession. Not much else.

Jon Evans: I think the Arsenal fans are poor. Yes Arsenal could do better but they could be doing much worse. Some of the fans are spoilt.

Chelsea Warrior: Fair to say The Emirates is a divided place. How will the players cope? Norwich could make easy capital with such dissent

Louie: Klopp was the one that was tailor made to replace Wenger Dortmand played very similarly, maybe we can tempt him from Liverpool

Cathal Brennan: Ronald Koeman would fit well. Has done a great job at Southampton with limited funding and they play good football.

Sometimes graphics don't do a game justice. This one, sadly, does. Little to get excited about at either end so far. Arsenal having most of the ball, yet John Ruddy has not had anything to do.

The Emirates is divided. But how is this helping the club's efforts today? The 12th minute signals a number of fans to hold up 'time for change' banners - because it is 12 years since they last won the Premier League title.

    But not everyone agrees.

"One Arsene Wenger is a chant" that soon goes up from other fans. "Proud of Arsene Wenger, ashamed of fans," is another home-made banner that appears.

There must have been an awful lot of home fans that have been watching Blue Peter recently and stationery shops in the north London area must have done a roaring trade over the last week judging by the amount of banners.

Better from Arsenal as Alex Iwobi uses his pace to get into a dangerous position, but his fizzed low cross cannot find a team-mate.

Olivier Giroud, without a league goal since 13 January, is denied as Canaries skipper Russell Martin throws himself in front of the ball and does enough to block it.

Louise merrigan:, external Arsene Wenger has had too much time, we are stale and settling for 3rd or 4th place, no other top club would accept this!!

Otis Talbot-Usmar:, external I would like change but let Wenger leave when his contract is up then bring in Koeman, De Boer or Joachim Low.

janie cook smith:, external I used to think that Laudrup would fit Arsenal perfectly, or Del Bosque. Not Mourinho - that's just disrespectful on Wenger.

  8. GOOD SAVE!published at 6 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Norwich

A good chance for the visitors. The ball finds its way to the back post, Nathan Redmond takes a touch to set himself and drills low towards goal.

The ball bounces off Petr Cech's legs and away to safety. This could well become a poisonous atmosphere if the Gunners were to fall behind. Sebastien Bassong then has another chance for Norwich, but glances a header wide.

A bit of luck for the Gunners as Cameron Jerome is about to burst through on goal. Well, he is until an assistant's flag stops him in his tracks.

It could be a long, lonely 90 minutes for the Norwich front man as the ball goes from one side of the defence, back to the other. Lots of the ball for Arsenal, but they haven't done anything with it yet though.

Former England winger on Football Focus

"I wrote Norwich off six weeks ago and then they looked like they had form and now they've slumped back into it. Look at the managers, Arsene Wenger and Alex Neil, it is like a mismatch. If Norwich can get anything at The Emirates today I will be very surprised."

Aaron Theaker:, external I'd like to see change at Arsenal but who would we get ? Simeone doesn't fit the style and wouldn't leave Madrid.

Gary Martin:, external Keep saying it, Joachim Low for the Arsenal job!!

Nikesh Solanki:, external Who are we gonna get now to take over? Pep and klop taken. Cannot make this decision without a clear plan.

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Leicester striker on BBC Radio 5 live

"That wasn't a great comment by Arsene Wenger and I'm surprised he has made it. It's not a great excuse and I don't think it will go down particularly well.

"Arsenal have under performed and under achieved this season. Those atmospheres only come about when under perform. It's an excuse and it all seems a bit soft to me."

So why do you stay as a club's manager? The emerging talent coming through the club?  The promise of funds to spend in the transfer window? Or to please the bank manager?

Well, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says banks demanded he committed to the club to help secure the loans required to fund the Emirates Stadium.

"When we built the stadium the banks demanded that I signed for five years," said the 66-year-old Frenchman.

"Do you want me to say how many clubs I turned down during that period?"

  20. A good time to play Arsenal?published at 17:14

    Arsenal v Norwich (17:30 BST)

    Steve Wilson
BBC Match of the Day commentator

"Alex Neil was a 15-year-old with big dreams when Arsene Wenger was appointed manager of Arsenal. When Neil was born in June 1981, Wenger was being offered his first coaching job - in charge of the youth at Strasbourg.

"Yet Norwich's impressive young manager is unlikely to be overawed by his first game in charge of a team at the Emirates.

"Norwich have already won at Old Trafford, drawn at Anfield and Upton Park and held Arsenal at Carrow Road this season. What they've done before, they can do again.

"Mind you, Norwich haven't won at Arsenal since the first day of Premier League football: 15 August 1992.

"Against a backdrop of some Arsenal fans protesting for change,, external Norwich might feel the time for another win on Gunners' soil has come."
