    PSG 0-0 Man City

Kevin de Bruyne flashes a rising drive over the top from 25 yards as Manchester City - dressed in lurid green this evening - continue their fine start.

Jesus Navas on the right - you know what's coming here - he hits the first defender.

Former Man City defender on BBC Radio 5 live

"It's an unbelievable decision from David Luiz. It's unnecessary. He just wrestles him to the ground. He got himself the wrong side and hauled Sergio Aguero to the floor."

Both ties make an electric start as Cristiano Ronaldo slides in a left-footed finish - but he is correctly flagged for offside.

Amazing! David Luiz has been booked inside 14 seconds for hauling over Sergio Aguero! Luiz will miss the second leg. What was he doing there? Just a punt over the top...

Manchester City captain Joe Hart loses the toss so Thiago Silva elects to attack his most fervent fans in the second half. Will it have any impact? The atmosphere is cracking at the moment.

  8. Is the Premier League too tiring?published at 19:43 British Summer Time 6 April 2016

PSG v Man City (19:45 BST)

    Neil Lennon
Former Celtic boss on BBC Radio 5 live

"It's probably the most competitive league in Europe. The winter break is very beneficial. The majority of countries do it and we don't. I think it would really help the players. I don't think it's the best league in Europe in terms of quality and winning mentality.

"I don't buy that the Premier League is too physical - maybe the winter break would help - but English teams have not been good enough in Europe, it's as simple as that."

Zlatan has a laugh and a joke with his mascot as he leads PSG out on to the field. The Champions League anthem rings out loud and true, the Parisians look mightily comfortable. I think they were quite pleased to draw Manchester City.

So Hart in goal, Delph on bench. Not much for English to cheer for. Looking forward to Euro 2016 & Spurs next season COYS.

The Parc des Princes looks magnificent as the sides form up in the tunnel. Over in Wolfsburg it's a sea of green and white scarves.

    C'est magnifique!

PSG v Man City (19:45 BST)

Manuel Pellegrini packed all sorts of cliches into his pre-match chat there but the main thrust was that his side will go out and attack tonight.

If they get an away goal then it is very much tie on. Sergio Aguero has scored 16 goals in his last 18 Champions League starts.

The cameras have just played Cristiano Ronaldo killing a long ball forwards on his calf, flicking the ball back over his head and then in the same single movement crashing a 20-yard strike past a startled goalkeeper and into the net.

    You can peak too early!

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini: "It is a game of 180 minutes, not 90 and we know how to play in that way. We are not coming here to play for a draw.

"Joe Hart is very important for us. He has had a very good season and has lots of experience. PSG have good players but we don't think too much about the other team."

Wolfsburg v Real Madrid (19:45 BST)

Are Real Madrid contenders for an 11th Champions League title this season? You can't see too many weak links in their XI tonight. Our main focus here will be on Manchester City's Parisian quest but you won't miss any big moments in Wolfsburg. Fear not.

We are 20 minutes from kick-off.

The bookies make City around a 4-1 shot to win tonight. A narrow defeat with an away goal would probably count as a good result?

Tell us what you really think Lawro!

Samir Nasri is not on the bench for City tonight after his return in midweek but Kevin de Bruyne starts behind Sergio Aguero.

    City's best attacker?

  20. 'Man City abysmal away from home'published at 19:23 British Summer Time 6 April 2016

PSG v Man City (19:45 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Sport

"We haven’t seen Manchester City's quality this season. Their away from in the league is abysmal. David Silva has had a quiet season, Yaya Toure looks like his legs might have gone. Raheem Sterling hasn’t really cut it yet. Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas – they’re not good enough."
