    Liverpool v Dortmund (20:05 BST)

Should Dortmund win the Europa League this season, they would become the fifth club to have picked up all three major Uefa trophies.

That's the European Cup/Champions League, Euopa League/UEFA Cup and the sadly defunct Cup Winners' Cup.

The clubs to have the full set already? Ajax, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Chelsea.

    Flops of the season

Francis Edwards: Biggest flop this season is clearly Sterling. 50m wasted when you see players like Coman and Costa signed for way less.

Yinka Afolabi: Jose Mourinho has got to be the biggest flop of the season

Ben: Eden Hazard without a doubt. From Player of the Year one season to being outscored by Pato within 20 minutes the next season

  7. Europa League actionpublished at 19:11 British Summer Time 14 April 2016

If people think the winner of the Europa League is going to come from the winner of Liverpool v Borussia Dortmund then Sevilla might have something to say about that.

The Spanish club, who have won the competition for the past two seasons, are also in quarter-final, second leg action tonight as they host Athletic Bilbao with a 2-1 lead.

In the other last eight ties, Shakhtar Donetsk are also 2-1 up as they entertain Braga, while Villarreal take a 2-1 lead into their game at Sparta Prague.

All games kick-off at 20:05 BST.

Liverpool striker Divock Origi starts and gets the nod ahead of Daniel Sturridge, who is on the bench. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp looks like he going for the 'attack is best form of defence' philosophy as he makes one change from the first leg by bringing in playmaker Roberto Firmino for injured midfielder Jordan Henderson.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Milner, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino, Origi.

It's two changes for Borussia Dortmund from the game in Germany. Centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos and playmaker Shinji Kagawa, who used to play for Manchester United, replace Sven Bender and Erik Durm.

Borussia Dortmund XI: Weidenfeller, Piszczek, Sokratis, Hummels, Schmelzer, Weigl, Castro, Mkhitaryan, Kagawa, Reus, Aubameyang.

    Flops of the season

A wonderful - if unsurprising - story of the day has grabbed the headlines with the revelation that sniffer dogs at Manchester airport have only been interested in detecting food.

One dog, which had been trained to sniff out smuggled products, had detected many items accurately - but the report said most were "small amounts of cheese or sausages."

    Nature over nurture. Every time.

Wilfried - I'm looking at you...

These dogs cost a reported £1.25m, which led me to think:

Who are your nominations for biggest flops of the season?

Who was meant to deliver Class A goods but has served up - at best - soft cheese?

Who needs more training? Who can't listen to the most basic of commands?

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had to walk within feet of the Borussia Dortmund fans as he made his entrance in the corner of Anfield were supporters of his old club will be housed for this Europa League quarter-final second leg tonight.

And the affection in which he is held as the coach who took Borussia to two Bundesliga titles and a Champions League Final was obvious the moment they saw him, Klopp receiving a rapturous welcome.

  15. Kop worth more than a goal?published at 18:56 British Summer Time 14 April 2016

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says a passionate Anfield crowd tonight is better than an away goal. [It's not]

The Reds drew 1-1 in the first leg in Germany last week.

"We've been presented with a great chance," said ex-Dortmund boss Klopp.

"We certainly won't be flying a white flag. We're aware of Dortmund's quality. They can play better but so can we."

Klopp, 48, claimed the atmosphere generated by the Liverpool fans against Manchester United in the previous round was key to their 2-0 home win.

He said: "We've had a few wonderful atmospheres in the Europa League - the best for sure was against Manchester United. This is the level we have to jump over.

"Having the crowd is a bigger advantage for us than having the away goal."

A rare Nuri Sahin goal for Liverpool

One man who will know his way from the car park to the bench - at least - is Dortmund's Nuri Sahin.

The midfielder spent five months on loan with Liverpool in 2012-13 but despite his pedigree he failed to displace Lucas or Joe Allen in the Reds midfield. He netted once in seven Premier League outings for the Reds. Can he cause some grief tonight?

  20. 'How will Liverpool play tonight?'published at 18:49 British Summer Time 14 April 2016

    Liverpool v Dortmund (20:05 BST)

    Jason Roberts
    Former West Brom striker

"Jurgen Klopp surprised a lot of people last week. I was surprised by Daniel Sturridge not starting but Divock Origi came in and scored a goal. They will gain a lot of confidence from the way they played and the result. Klopp will know what to expect from Dortmund – they won’t sit back and try to contain Liverpool, they will come and attack and play high tempo football.

"The question is will Liverpool play the same way or will they drop off and allow Dortmund to dominate possession? We will soon see how positive Klopp is, how bothered he is about scoring more goals."
