Divock Origi is 21 next week, and it's easy to forget that he started at the last World Cup for Belgium ahead of Christian Benteke. And Romelu Lukaku. There's a player in there and he looks a real threat now, rolling his defender and firing high and wide.

Image source, Getty ImagesJürgen Klopp will doubtlessly be condemning his side's defending for the two Dortmund goals - and you cannot be surprised at that. The standard of that defending is unacceptable, especially when there's a semi-final slot up for grabs. If the mountain that they need to climb wasn't high enough already, their faint hopes would have been extinguished completely had Dortmund got a third. They're still in it, but for me it's nigh on impossible against this class side from Germany.

I was trying to think in that first half which game this reminded me of - and I have just got it.
Brazil 1-7 Germany. Some of Dortmund's play cut through Liverpool like Germany did to Brazil on that night, after a similar, passionate build-up.
