In the Football League
A few issues could be decided tonight.
Charlton will be relegated if they fail to win at Bolton, while MK Dons will also drop if they lose at Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham and Fulham pick up points and Nottingham Forest and Blackburn draw.
Colchester will be relegated if they lose at Crewe, and Shrewsbury and Fleetwood do not lose. A draw might also not be enough if Shrewsbury and Fleetwood win and Oldham get something out of their trip to Southend.
York will be relegated if they fail to win at home to Portsmouth. However, a victory would not be enough to retain their league status if Newport win at home to Oxford United and Stevenage avoid defeat against Bristol Rovers.

Alan Shearer
BBC Radio 5 live at St James' Park
"If I had had 10 games in 2009 I'm pretty sure I would have kept Newcastle up rather than eight games!
"It takes time to come in and try and sort it out. Rafa has to get to know the players himself. It looks like that's beginning to happen. We'll certainly find out more tonight. For a manager, when things are constantly going wrong for you, it's very difficult.
"He didn't need any advice from me. It's a big football club that's been sleeping for a number of years. If he could keep them up, if he could do things his way, he felt he had a chance of being successful. He'll get a feel for the staff and the owner and that's a big thing also."

Is Manchester City's semi-final, first leg against Real Madrid in the Champions League going to be a distraction?
City beat Chelsea 3-0 on Saturday and club skipper Vincent Kompany doesn't seem to think so.
"You would've seen it against Chelsea if it was a distraction," said Kompany. "If anything everyone will be playing at their best level to play in the semi-final.
"You will probably will see a hungry team until the semi-final."

I could barely make a family saloon. This guy is making every stadium in the 92. Superb.

In fact I've just read that Sergio Aguero averages a goal every 47 minutes against Newcastle! Ridiculous...

Alan Shearer
BBC Radio 5 live at St James' Park
"3-0 was a great scoreline at the weekend and it probably flattered Newcastle but it doesn't matter at this stage of the season. They're playing a very good side tonight. I'll be a tough. They have to get something from this game, or the game at Anfield, to stay in the Premier League."
Newcastle v Man City (19:45 BST)
Sergio Aguero's hat-trick at Chelsea on Saturday took him to 99 goals in 146 Premier League matches, putting him on course to become the second-quickest player to reach a century of goals in the competition after Newcastle hero Alan Shearer (124 appearances).
After Big Al comes [currently] Thierry Henry, who bagged 100 in 160 for Arsenal, then Ian Wright who managed the ton in 173 games.

Predict the XIs
Who will be in the starting XI for Newcastle and Manchester City on the opening day of next season?
A rather woolly question, impossible to predict, sure.
But given the fact that Pep Guardiola is coming in to City and Newcastle may - or may not - be playing in the Championship, I'm expecting big changes. Are you?

Newcastle v Man City (19:45 BST)
Newcastle beat Swansea on Saturday and manager Rafael Benitez makes one change from that game as forward Ayoze Perez replaces Georginio Wijnaldum.
Newcastle XI: Darlow, Anita, Mbemba, Lascelles, Dummett, Tiote, Colback, Townsend, Sissoko, Perez, Cisse.
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany returns after a six-game absence with a calf injury. The centre-back is one of three changes from the win over Chelsea last Saturday as midfielders Fabian Delph and Fernando also start. Nicolas Otamendi, Fernandinho and Samir Nasri make way. Raheem Sterling has been out for five games and is on the bench.
Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernando, Delph, Navas, Toure, De Bruyne, Aguero.

"We can win this! Ah..."
Newcastle v Man City (19:45 BST)
Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez: "I think they [Man City] have an eye on the Champions League and hopefully we can take advantage.
"In the back of your head you are thinking about a semi-final or a final and if you are going to get an injury.
"They are professionals and they will try to win but in the back of their mind they won't want to miss a game through injury."
Sunderland
Interestingly, when revisiting our live text of that last game in 2009, this quote jumped out at me:
Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn: "You bet your life Ricky Sbragia is staying on, he has a job here for life."
Sbragia left Sunderland in 2011 and is currently the Scotland Under-21 manager.
Newcastle may have plenty of problems - but at least you can buy a ticket. Should you wish to.
That wasn't the case north of the border after the website of Scottish League Cup winners Ross County was accidentally deleted.
The Dingwall-based Scottish Premiership outfit uses web hosting firm 123-reg. The company, which hosts 1.7m sites in the UK, has said an error made during maintenance "effectively deleted" what was on some of its servers.
David O'Connor, of Ross County, said the issue came amid the club's build up to next Sunday's game against Celtic. The Staggies' website went down on Saturday and was not restored until Tuesday afternoon.
