"They can't handle him. It's a magnificent decision by Bilic to change Tomkins and put Antonio at right-back. Antonio can now get forward, Emenike will drift inside. He's taken on Monreal and stood up a beautiful cross to the far post and Andy Carroll does what he does best.

"It's great to see a player do that in the modern game because there's not many of them left. He has buried the header into the Arsenal net and Arsenal look shell-shocked."

It could be a good time to catch your breath. Particularly if you're Gabriel.

Whether it was that elbow to the head from Andy Carroll, I'm not sure, the Brazilian is with it. He looks shaken.

West Ham are trouncing the Gunners at the moment. Michail Antonio once again gets to the by-line and this time he whips in a low one. Carroll connects, but drags wide.

Andy Carroll has Laurent Koscielny under pressure as he tries to guard the ball back to David Ospina on the touchline. Koscielny tumbles and in the process nudges the ball to Dimitri Payet to put into an empty net.

All eyes on Andy Carroll.

The striker is on a yellow card and he catches Gabriel in the face with an elbow as they go up for a header.

Some refs might have booked him. I'd say there's no malice and the pair shake hands.

Arsenal were out nice and early for the second half. West Ham kept them waiting, and why not.

There's been a change from West Ham - James Tomkins is off and Emmanuel Emenike is on. That will mean West Ham will go from five at the back to four.

The Gunners start the second half.

Arsenal last lost a Premier League game after being two goals up v Spurs in November 2010 and last failed to win after being two goals up v Fulham in November 2012.

Tom Allen: Smash West Ham the whole half and sleep for two minutes pay the price.

Damian Fogarty: A serious title winning team would have held that 2-0 lead til half time but not recent Arsenal teams. That's their problem.

"It's no more than West Ham deserve. The reaction from going a goal down was very good and they were punished by brilliant Arsenal play from Coquelin and Iwobi and a brilliant Sanchez finish. 

"Arsenal looked so slick but you always felt that if they got decent service into Carroll then something may come up because Arsenal haven't been able to deal with crosses. They get the goal back through a fantastic header and then they put the pressure on Arsenal to get the second goal.

"Great decision by Bilic to play Andy Carroll. He's totally justified his inclusion. We have got a really good second half to look forward to. "

There were 160 seconds between Andy Carroll's goals. That's less than three minutes.

As an aside, Carroll has scored twice in a Premier League game for the first time since December 2014.

Tony Toboski:  Should Carroll have still been on the pitch to make the pass for the disallowed goal? You can't selectively choose debatable decisions. 

Nick Clohessy: The argument here is that Carroll should have seen red on 4 minutes, and now he's scored 2 goals.

Thabit Jacob: Bilic will have to be at his poetic best to describe Carroll's finish.

It's probably what West Ham deserve, maybe? Particularly after having a good goal disallowed and there being doubt over the Arsenal opener.

Mesut Ozil looks onside for that one, but the debate is whether Nancho Monreal is interfering in his offside position. By the rule book, it probably counts.

Arsenal fans will likely say Andy Carroll should have been sent off in the first few minutes though, for a tackle on Laurent Koscielny.

He slides another ball into the same area as the two goals, but Michail Antonio just beats Danny Welbeck to it.

Meanwhile, Adrian gets himself into all sorts of bother with a dodgy touch from a passback.

Welbeck charges it down, but deflects it out for a goal kick.

A sniff for West Ham as Andy Carroll gets a low shot away from the edge if the area.

David Ospina must have vegetable oil on his gloves as he spills it, but claims it again before Dimitri Payet can arrive.
