    West Ham 0-0 Arsenal

And now Alexis Sanchez is free down the right, clips it to the far corner of the area, where Mohamed Elneny's shot is blocked.

    Arsenal are growing into this.

  2. Postpublished at 11 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal are finding space in behind the Hammers, which is odd considering how well West Ham have been the counter-attackers themselves this season.

Alex Iwobi has the room to cross from the left, but only finds a Hammers defender.

  3. Postpublished at 10 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Arsenal

A quick counter from Arsenal, with Mohamed Elneny driving forward. He feeds Mesut Ozil down the left, who wins a corner.

The Gunners play it short and, Alex Iwobi, full of confidence, tries a backheel into the area which drifts all the way out for a goal kick. That backheel backfired.

  4. Postpublished at 8 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal's Francis Coquelin now catches Manuel Lanzini in the centre circle. It's not pretty either, but just a free-kick.

  5. Postpublished at 7 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Arsenal

Laurent Koscielny has had a bit of treatment and is now hobbling to the touchline. He'll come back on though. Mesut Ozil tries to clip the free-kick in the area, but it comes to nothing.

    Andy Carroll is here everyone.

He takes one swipe at Laurent Koscielny, misses, so then dives in and clips the calf of the Frenchman just to make sure.

A booking and a free-kick midway in the Hammers half.

Carroll is possibly seeking revenge for an aerial challenge a few moments earlier where Koscielny caught him.

  7. Postpublished at 3 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Arsenal

Woah. Almost a beaut of a start from the Hammers.

Michail Antonio drops in a deep cross, which Aaron Cresswell has a swing at rushing in from left-back. It flashes across goal and Manuel Lanzini gets a head on it. It spins past the post - but he was offside anyway, just.

  10. 'Arsenal are a strange team'published at 12:43 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

West Ham v Arsenal (12:45 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC Sport football expert

"It was a surprise when West Ham went to Emirates Stadium and won on the opening weekend of the season, but we now know why it happened - the Hammers are a very good team.

"In the first six to eight weeks of the season I just put it down to them making a very strong start and I was still wondering where they would finish. Well, now we know - the top six - and they are aiming higher.

"Slaven Bilic's side have had Cheikhou Kouyate's red card from last week's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace rescinded, but that is no good to them now because, with 11 men, they will think they would have picked up two extra points.

"Arsenal are a strange team, and I can see them winning nearly all their remaining games this season.

"The pressure is off the Gunners now, with their title hopes all but over, which is why I think they will go to Upton Park, relax, play some open football - and win."

Lawro predicts a 2-1 win for the Gunners. See his other weekend predictions here.

Ian Wright and Davor Suker are the only other Arsenal players to have scored in their first two Premier League starts for the Gunners.

The 19-year-old netted in wins over Everton and Watford - can he make it three in a row today?

  13. 'Arsenal are finishing with a flourish'published at 12:40 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

West Ham v Arsenal (12:45 BST)

    Jonathan Pearce
Match of the Day commentator at Upton Park

    "This should be a belter.

"It's a decade since West Ham last beat Arsenal at home. But this is the season they've ended hoodoo runs at Liverpool and against Tottenham and for the first time in a generation look like capable of finishing in the top four. If they win this they can do it.

"Kouyate's rescinded red card is crucial. Big players are also now fit again.

"But Arsenal are finishing with a flourish as usual. Alexis Sanchez is flying again. Alex Iwobi is attracting the sort of headlines the Hammers' Reece Oxford grabbed after their opening day win at Arsenal.

"And then there's Dimitri Payet. Anything could happen."

This is the point where I usually flag up live commentary on BBC Radio 5 live. But commentator Conor McNamara has done it for me - and with a splendidly arty picture to boot. (He's annoyingly good at that stuff).

West Ham lost their first two home games of the Premier League season to Leicester and Bournemouth, but they haven't lost on their own ground in the league since, winning seven and drawing six of their subsequent 13 games at Upton Park.

That's the longest current unbeaten home run in the top division, and they also have a great record in London derbies this term.

Slaven Bilic's side have 14 points from seven games against their rivals in the capital this season, compared to Arsenal's five points from six derby matches.

    Matt Elliott
Former Leicester City captain on Football Focus

"Arsenal are perennial bottlers, for want of a better word, it sounds harsh but it is true and when push comes to shove they don’t produce."

  17. Practice makes Payetpublished at 12:33 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

West Ham v Arsenal (12:45 BST)

West Ham's Dimitri Payet is hitting free-kick after free-kick from about 25 yards in the warm-up.

Slightly left of centre, curling away from goal with his right foot.

Hasn't scored a single one... no idea why they let him take them.

(Payet has netted four direct free-kick goals for West Ham this season in all competitions, a haul only Chelsea's Willian can better with six).

Andy Carroll is out on the Upton Park pitch warming up with his team-mates.

    I can report two things:

    1. He's not injured yet.

    2. He has gone for the very tightly held bun, rather than the looser ponytail he has often sported in recent times.

It's a subtle difference, but us fashionistas notice these things.

While we're on good injury news for Arsenal, midfielder Jack Wilshere played his first game in 10 months as he started for the Gunners' Under-21 side against Newcastle on Friday.

The England international, 24, has not featured for club or country since June 2015 after fracturing his fibula, but he managed 65 minutes in the U21 Premier League game.
