Diego Simeone definitely isn't happy - he has made a change at half-time. Exciting Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco replaces central midfielder Augusto Fernandez. Koke will presumably play more centrally.

The players are back in the tunnel and ready to come back out onto the San Siro turf. I'm absolutely certain Atletico Madrid will be a lot better in the second half.

They have to be. Diego Simeone won't have accepted that.

  3. Cardiff to host 2017 finalpublished at 20:46 British Summer Time 28 May 2016

Next year's Champions League final is in Cardiff's Principality Stadium, which you might know as the Millennium Stadium.

The Football Association of Wales have sent people over to Milan on a jolly, sorry a fact-finding mission this weekend.

"The scale of the city is a challenge," said Alan Hamer, the Welsh FA's 2017 Champions League project director.

"The eyes of the world will be on Cardiff next year.

"The match will be viewed by 200 million people worldwide and they're expecting 300,000 people to attend the fan zone in Milan over four days."

If you want to host your own Champions League final and are curious about the logistics, the rest of the BBC Wales story is here.

Just seen another 400 replays of the goal at half-time - Sergio Ramos was definitely offside, and definitely got a touch to Gareth Bale's header.

"It took a while for Atletico to get into the game, I expected the start that Real gave us, fire and intesnity, but it never came.

"Real have dominated possession throughout, Atletico have to be far more aggresive and they find themselves 1-0 down. They have improved, and Antoine Griezmann is a growing influence. Diego Simeone will be asking for more of that to get back into this game."

Five players have scored in two Champions League finals. They are all current or former Real Madrid or Barcelona players  - Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi, Raul, Cristiano Ronaldo & Samuel Eto'o.

Fernando Torres called this game the most important of his life. The 32-year-old has rediscovered his form, with six goals in his last eight La Liga games.

But unfortunately - at the home of AC Milan, who are technically his parent club - he has only had 10 touches tonight, and even worse than that...

  8. HALF-TIME - Real Madrid 1-0 Atletico Madridpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 28 May 2016

It's half-time and Real Madrid are halfway towards winning their 11th European Cup. They deservedly lead.

"Antoine Griezmann is starting to grow and grow in this game. It's slow at times for Atletico, it has to be, because Real are so set up for the counter attack."

Real Madrid's top two passers have been Dani Carvajal and Luka Modric.

Right-back Carvajal has found his midfield team-mate 11 times so far in the first half, the best passing combination of any other pair on the pitch.

Antoine Griezmann has his third shot (fourth if we count the offside one) in the past seven minutes but he drags this shot wide of Keylor Navas' post.

Atletico Madrid are leaving spaces and Karim Benzema tries to find Cristiano Ronaldo with an ambitious 50-yard through-ball but Diego Godin intercepts. They need to get into the break only 1-0 behind.

Atletico striker Antoine Griezmann, who has come to life in the past five minutes, has a shot from distance which is easily held by Keylor Navas. He's making stuff happen now, the talented France star.

Navas has yet to make a difficult save though.

Gerry: Real are totally dominating and deserve to be ahead. All are good but I'm very much impressed how good Marcelo and Bale are!

A few people tweeting us pictures of the beer they're drinking while watching at home. Don't tease me, you lot -  BBC Sport has a no pints in the office policy, and I'm pretty thirsty.

Welshman Gareth Bale has arguably been Real Madrid's best player so far. He has mis-placed just two of his 16 passes, which includes one assist and two key passes.

"I'm very impressed with the way Real have defended. They have defended in numbers; even Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have got back and it gives them five in midfield which makes it hard for Atletico to penetrate."

Antoine Griezmann has another effort but he's offside. Gabi lofts a ball over Real's back line and Griezmann - who hadn't seen the flag - sees his volley saved by Keylor Navas. It wouldn't have counted. This is better from Atleti though.
