Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann, who has had the season of his life, gets a shooting opportunity for the first time but it's easily held by Keylor Navas. At least he got an effort on target though.

This is one of the worst performances I've seen from Atletico Madrid this season. Think Diego Simeone is going to have very strong (and loud) words at half-time. They have to stay in this.

Mark Sinnott: Atletico very poor so far. Loose marking, slack clearances and ineffective pressing. Torres at fault for goal. Needs sorting.

Sergio Ramos's goal was really just as easy as it looks on the graphic below.

Atletico's marking was nowhere to be seen as Gareth Bale (11) flicked on Toni Kroos's free-kick, before Ramos (4) poked in from close range.

"Gareth Bale has been the standout performer in the opening half an hour. You cant bully him, he is too quick, too strong and today he is playing with confidence."

There was a suggestion that Sergio Ramos' goal was offside. Also seen some people say he didn't even get a touch and that Gareth Bale got the goal. Not sure about that one...

Juanfran has a rare shot for Atletico Madrid but it would have had to be one of the great Champions League goals. The full-back volleys a high cross from outside the box but it's very high and very wide.

Cristiano Ronaldo does get on the ball now but Stefan Savic is able to block it. Real Madrid are still bossing this.

Twenty minutes gone and look at the touch map of two of the star men. Cristiano Ronaldo (left) has hardly got his foot on the ball, while Atletico's Fernando Torres has had just five touches of the ball - the least of any outfield player on the pitch.

Atletico have registered under 30% possession in each of their last four Champions League games - they have 42% tonight so far but they're not doing much with the ball.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke knocks Gareth Bale to the ground and concedes a free-kick.

Diego Simeone's side have to be careful and make sure they stay in this game. As brilliant a team as they are, they'd struggle to come from two behind.

Real had 65.4% possession after five minutes and that increased in the next 10 minutes.

Could they make it count? They sure could. It wasn't a slick, passing move that opened up Atletico, instead a free-kick knocked into the box for Sergio Ramos to nudge home.

"You can give away a free-kick in dangerous areas when there are technicians like Toni Kroos on the pitch. Gareth Bale gets in front of the defensive line and gets a cheeky flick-on which falls to Sergio Ramos."

That's Sergio Ramos' first Champions League goal since the 2014 final too. A man for the big occasion.

He also becomes the first defender to score in two Champions League finals.

    Sergio Ramos

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos - who scored the injury-time equaliser two years ago - scores in another Champions League final against Atletico Madrid.

Toni Kroos whips in a free-kick from deep, Gareth Bale flicks it on with his head, and Ramos turns it home from close range.

Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't seen much action so far. So he comes back to midfield, does a few bits of skill then passes it to a team-mate.

Gareth Bale, who has been livelier, wins another free-kick.

Do you think Atletico prefer going down the right-hand side? That's been the route in the first 10 minutes.

Saul Niguez - linked with Manchester United - will see a lot of the ball in the final if that pattern continues.
