Wales were throwing their bodies on the line. Kevin de Bruyne opened Wales up. It was a good save, great start from Belgium.

Romelu Lukaku should score from the following corner.

EXTRAORDINARY! How are Belgium not ahead?!

Romelu Lukaku barges clear down the left, his cross finds Yannick Carrasco at the back post. He takes a touch, shoots - saved by Wayne Hennessey.

Right-back Thomas Meunier follows up, his shot is blocked on the line by a shirt in red, and Eden Hazard then has a follow-up deflected over!

The corner then goes right through the goalmouth...

It’s going to be a game of cat and mouse for Wales' wing-backs. If Chris Gunter goes forward and Eden Hazard doesn’t track him, James Chester will have to come out - same for Neil Taylor and Yannick Carrasco on the other side. There’ll be big gaps in between those for Romelu Lukaku and Kevin de Bruyne to run through.

Belgium have had a lot of possession but we knew that. When we beat them last year, we defended for our lives.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 5 mins

    Wales 0-0 Belgium

Chris Coleman already up and barking instructions. At times Belgium are leaving three men up against the Wales back three. That's a recipe for danger! Ben Davies trips Kevin de Bruyne after a poor pass from Joe Ledley and that's Davies ruled out of any semi-final...

Matt Bamber: I'm not fussed who wins tonight tbh just as long as the winner tonight beats Portugal in the next round!

Kartik Venkat: To all the Welsh fans, if this Belgian team clicks, you are in for a rough night. Till then, dream on!

Jen Parry: Tense atmosphere in the Parry household tonight so may I apologise in advance to our neighbours #eek

They were the epitome of calm during the build-up but Wales look a touch nervy now - understandably. Joe Allen sprays a routine pass wide of its target and Hal Robson-Kanu is shrugged off easily by Axel Witsel. Joe Ledley has to put in a tackle worthy of his beard to stop a counter.

First sighting of Eden Hazard - and he breezes past his man. Again he overcooks the cross from the left though. 100mph start.

Belgium get youngster Jordan Lukaku on the ball nice and early at left-back, he picks out a pass across his back four and Belgium attack down the right. In it comes towards older brother Romelu Lukaku - but it's overcooked.

All three of the BBC pundits in the studio think Wales will win. Alan Shearer reckons they'll win in extra time, Rio Ferdinand says penalties and Dean Saunders reckons they'll nick a couple of goals on the break.

So we are in for 90, 120 or 140-odd minutes of action then.
