Three of Belgium's first-choice back four are missing, that gives Wales a boost. If Hazard and De Bruyne get inbetween the lines they will cause all sorts of problems, as can Ramsey and Bale for Wales.

That's where the game will be won. It's a massive game for Belgium boss Marc Wilmots. Lose tonight and he might lose his job.

Last time I was here, for the Republic of Ireland's dramatic late win over Italy on 22 June, it was a beautifully sunny evening in Lille so, obviously, they closed the roof. It was like a sauna in here.

This time around, it has been raining for most of the day, and most of the past few days too. Any chance of the roof being closed? What do you reckon... ?

And then there is the pitch - the Wales players have just been out to inspect it, as shown in the picture above. It cut up so badly earlier in the tournament, they ripped it up and relaid it after that Republic v Italy game.

Will it be any better tonight, after all this rain? We will find out in about an hour or so...

As expected, Wales make just one change from the side which beat Northern Ireland. They go for the pace of Hal Robson-Kanu up front instead of the power of Sam Vokes.

    England - GONE.

    Northern Ireland - GONE.

The Republic of Ireland - GONE.

    It's all on you Wales.

Yes, the Wales players may have, er, enjoyed seeing Iceland knock England out the other night but I'm sure everyone in the UK and Ireland is behind the men in red tonight.

We are only 10 miles from the border with Belgium so it is no surprise that their fans are here in force tonight, although it is fair to say the weather is affecting everyone's enjoyment of the pre-match atmosphere. Not too many places to shelter outside the stadium either.

Wales have lost only two of their nine games at major tournaments, both by a one-goal difference: against Brazil in 1958 (0-1) and England in 2016 (1-2).

Daniel Sturridge got the winner for England. But it took Pele of all people to end Wales' World Cup bid 58 years ago...

The rain is lashing down in Lille, which may cause problems for a Stade Pierre Mauroy pitch which has already been relaid during Euro 2016.

Superstitious Wales fans may recall that last year’s qualifier against Belgium in Cardiff was played in heavy rain. Wales won 1-0 that day. Is that a good omen?

Gareth Bale is absolutely loving it. He grabs Joe Ledley in a bear hug and jostles him to the chants of the Wales fans who are in position early.

Someone in an England shirt needs to have a word with the Wales camp later in the year. Pressure? They look like a bunch of guys on holiday. Having the time of their lives...

I think it's a fair assumption that the Wales fans in Lille will have found themselves severely outnumbered today.

Lille is just 25 minutes or so in the car from the Belgian border. The square in the lovely old town has been thronged by the red, black and gold of Belgium.

There will be about 20,000 Wales fans in Lille for the match, but with the city just 10 miles from the Belgian border, it has been estimated there will be up to 150,000 Belgium supporters making the trip.

But the Wales fans who have made it have been in good voice, no doubt...

There have been concerns that many ticketless Welsh fans may not even be able to get into the Lille fan zone, which holds 30,000. Paul Corkery, of the Football Supporters' Federation Cymru, warned: "Once it's full it's shut."

*Insider's tip. I was out in Lille the other week and guess what? There are a few bars showing the game...
