Poland are looking for little one-twos around the box.

Switzerland are narrow and tucked in, allowing the Polish players to get down the flanks, they have delivered balls in and I want to see Robert Lewandowski in the middle of the box, not getting involved in play in the middle of the pitch.

Swiss keeper Yann Sommer is a bag of nerves. After a long spell of Polish possession he claims a catch and then instantly lamps a drop-kick right back to the Poland defence. COMPOSURE!

Switzerland are shading possession - but Poland have had four shots to Switzerland's one.

Poland dictating the play again now after that flurry of Swiss pressure. Both sides look composed and controlled on the ball. Have they got the class in front of goal though?

Much better from the Swiss now. Poland's number 10 Grzegorz Krychowiak shows his class to be in the exact right position to cut out a cross before Stephan Lichtsteiner has another cross well blocked away. Both sides looking good until they reach the penalty area, as Robert Lewandowski screws a snap-shot well wide.

  6. 'Which Shaqiri will turn up?'published at 14:11 British Summer Time 25 June 2016

Switzerland will play at a slower tempo and are trying to take the sting out of the game. Midfielder Granit Xhaka, who has signed for Arsenal, had 33 yellow cards and five reds in his short spell in Germany with Borussia Moenchengladbach.

This is a talented player who is not afraid to get in amongst it.

If Switzerland want to be successful in this game, Xherdan Shaqiri has to have the game of his life. He has the talent but which Shaqiri will turn up?

Swiss keeper Yann Sommer with a howler in the first 30 seconds - he was lucky to get away with that.

    Switzerland 0-0 Poland

Switzerland finally settle down and put together a decent move. Stoke's Xherdan Shaqiri pops up in a pocket of space out wide and bobbles over a low cross, Blerim Dzemaili is there but can't control his strike and ends up scuffing it wide of the near post.

    Switzerland 0-0 Poland

Poland are taking control of the midfield. I am a big fan of Grzegorz Krychowiak of Sevilla and he was in the La Liga team of the year in the past.

He is the glue of this Polish side in front of the back four, a super midfielder.

Only Haris Seferovic (4) has missed more clear cut chances at Euro 2016 than Arkadiusz Milik (3).

It's a good job we have them both on the pitch this afternoon!

Swiss coach Vladimir Petkovic is already out on the very edge of his technical area, wearing a concerned look. Robert Lewandowski adds another level to his frown with a run into the area but his shot is blocked.

    It's all Poland.

A clanger after 22 seconds! Swiss keeper Yann Sommer throws it out to Johan Djourou - not something I would ever advise - and he plays a blind, panic-filled pass across his own goal.

Robert Lewandowski is on to it, Sommer makes a desperate slide tackle, wins the ball, but it falls for Arkadiusz Milik.

Goal vacant, angle acute, shot over.

  18. Petit? Edu? Xhaka...published at 13:53 British Summer Time 25 June 2016

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC One

Is Granit Xhaka the new Emmanuel Petit or Edu?

He likes a good challenge and Arsenal have been missing that. He wants to make things happen from the back and drift forward.

For me, he looks like a decent signing.

Grzegorz Krychowiak has two great feet, he can spray balls with his left foot then shoot powerfully with his right.

He makes the Poland back four stronger and is calm in possession. He does not take the easy option, he pushes the ball forward and is a top player.

A couple of Manchester clubs are looking at him...
